Many Happy Returns to Miss N9eav

    (((Smokey)))

Nice and sunny here in Essex but boy did it rain last night so no dog walking over the fields. Kids are off now, DS has just got up but DD will probably lie in for a while- she has a party tonight so its a good idea.

Just about to jump in the shower but need to get the coffee on first. On the os front need to freeze the chicken stock I made, and get the bm on later as we are having ploughmans tonight. Need to get some ham and some other bits but will pop down to our village shop, although its dearer I only get what I went in for iykwim.

Need to do some work this morning, some business calls which I want to get out of the way. Need to speak to the accountant about debt factoring - hope he doesnt try and put us off as we really need to do it.

I am rambling too much so best go now - Hester July cant come too soon eh.

    Have a good one.

Morning Chums and <<hugs>. to those in need
looks a bit doubtful for hanging my washing out today,a very watery sun at the moment.
Isn't it grand that the clocks have changed and hopefully the winter is behind us again. I have a little shopping to do this morning then this afternoon I am going to make some cards for the April birthdays .
I had rather a lot of spuds in my veggie box yesterday, so I peeled lots and boiled and mashed some for the freezer.
Have been very OS this last week, and am eating from the freezer/storecupboards for the next week or so as I did a big shop on Friday so I will only have to buy fresh milk and veg for the next few weeks.
Tomorrow I am off to our local am-dram theatre to see a Harold Pinta play.
Then Wednesday I am having a day at Bluewater to meet my friend who has just returned from holiday in the Carribbean. We are going to treat ourselves to lunch and the cinema.I have a Cinema Exhibitors ticket as I am registered disabled, and it means that we split the cost of one ticket between us.Haven't a clue as to what we will see yet but it will be followed by a coffee and a Krispy Kreme doughnut thats for sure.
May have a shufti at Lakelands whilst I'm there as well. Busy week ahead, lets hope th weather brightens up a bit. Hope you all have a splendid week and save lots of cash
    take care

    Morning all

As usual i have loads to do on a Monday - non working day my **se.
I dug and covered with weed fabric all the veggie plots a couple of weeks ago and must get some seeds out there today - hope I'm not too late - most of them say they can be planted as late as april

I half shabby chiced a blanket box yesterday - just looks shabby at the moment - hopefully will be transformd to chic this afternoon. Also need to do a healthy meal plan and go shopping with dd this afternoon - oh and clean out the hamster. So much to do ... so little help

dd22 is driving me mad already - as predicted. She woke me up last night to tell me she was going out for the night and thought she'd better let me know in case I worried - well as she leaves for work at stupid o clock it's not likely that i would have been any the wiser really. She has also brought tonnes of her bf's washng with her which was just what I needed with two suitcases to unpack and dd's uniform to wash

anway have a lovely day and hugs to those that need them
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Morning All

Super tired today as I just couldn't sleep last night. No reason as to why, just tossed and turned all night.

I remembered to go to the shop after work yesterday, so we had tea bags!!:T Mum made a lovely rice pudding for pud (funny that!) yesterday.

Hoping to sort out broadband this week, as work should hopefully pick up and I'll be able to do it from home.

Have HM bread pudding in my bag and a tuna mayo sarnie. Think it must nearly be lunch time now....

happy birthday to n9eve (and belated birthday wishes to Mr Moiliere)
hugs to all those who need one (especially smoky and family)

nothing very OS going on here today, got the forst load in the WM, pressed some of my knitted squares earlier BUT i think my irons broke - it was fine last week but i filled it up to steam the squares and the water poured straigth out of the hole the leccy cable comes out of. I dont think thats supposed to happen! anyway emptied it out and used a mister to damp them. hoping DH can fix it trouble is if i tell him and he cant he'll make me bin it so i might just use it dry with the mister as its a nice heavy iron.

wont be about this afty Dh is using a 1/2 day up and weve got dentist

last week of the easter hols here so the kids are making the most of being off by all having a lie in.

hope everyone has something nice in their day

betheebee - huge (((hugs))) to you.

smoky and the babes - thinking of all of you. Take care. x

I'm sorry that I haven't checked in for a few days. I don't seem to have sat down to a PC (or laptop :D) in a while. Well, since last week. :D

Whilst at my parents' house last week, I sorted out quite a few things to go to a car boot sale. When this car boot sale will be - and where - is a minor technical hitch. There's a huge one up near my parents, but it's a case of choosing the sunniest Sunday when people aren't going to the coast.

As part of the de-clutter there, I've been able to get quite a few books listed onto Amazon. Amazingly, a few of them have sold really quickly! This means that I seem to be making daily trips to the Post Office to post parcels. The money will be going into my Olympic fund (see my sig) which directly goes into our holiday fund.

I found some pasta sauce in the fridge that I'd "forgotten" about, so that will be supper tonight - with some pasta. Better use it up before I fill the freezer again!

Right, more sorting out to do. DH said that he "wouldn't mind at all" if I did some ironing today. A little trip to the library is needed too. Hmm, I'd better stop procrastinating and get on with it!

    Have a good day.
