Johanne have you seen the tickets on the side off kelloggs cereal boxes, they allow one person free entry adult or child. xx

Chunky - is that for Chester Zoo, Knowsley or a variety of places? Ta xx
  • OMG!!!!! There is no way BF will take me there!! I dont think he'd risk his paintwork :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Chester it is!!!!

The only area DH's car was "interesting" was when we were going through the monkey (I think) area - there is a "car friendly route" i.e. you can look at them with a fence between you and them! we have some very interesting pictures of the water skushers being nibbled. Thankfully DH is of the opinion that it adds character to his car :rotfl: although there were other cars that they really seemed to dislike

imho they are both a great day out - for sure there is more to do at Chester Zoo. Although Knowlsey was a rainy day and Chester was sunny so maybe that is influencing me!

I have some of these tickets (need to find and count up) pm if they are of use - there are no attractions near us!

I have cleaned the washing machine filter - I hate that job - it smells vile - squirted some bleach done the whole and have now put it on a boil wash with soda crystals.

Worktop done. Going to make lunch for DS3 and his friend and then tackle the floor - think it could be a two mop day

 ORF I have captured the image of the van - it has been there since I reported for duty before 8:00 - I doubt the squirrel was awake then:cool:

Just stopped for a cheese and onion sandwich and a cuppa. My progress so far:

    Killer Kitchen - Monday
    Level One
    [strike]Clear and wipe work surfaces[/strike]
[strike]Clear the window sills (*rofl* not likely!!)[/strike]
    Level Two
    Sweep and Mop the floor
Wipe the cupboards, appliances and all those manky corners!!
[strike]Take down and clean the lightshades.[/strike] - This has taken most of the morning! lots of plastic discs and fiddly screws involved, but worth the effort. I unscrewed one of the lightbulbs and a dead earwig fell out:eek:
    Level Three
Clear and wipe the tops of the wall units... not you porky pregnant people though.. I know you are so keen!
Wipe over all those small appliances.. don't forget the inside of the microwave!
[strike]Wipe out the gicky parts of the fridge and have a quick check for what needs restocking.. I have locusts off school!! [/strike] - vegbox just arrived so fridge is looking a bit healthier now
    Extras
    • [strike]Clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes* [/strike]
    • I even did the extractor and metal splashback. Thanks to Gunsandbanjos for the Barkeeper's friend suggestion. The scorch mark has all but gone now.
    • Clean windows
    • Go play a game with the children who have helped you today!!-still at school
    • Two loads of washing done and two hung out, Third one in the WM now.
    So far so good.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j
  • ok I have 5 cut and ready to go and 3 on boxes :rotfl:

on a flying note have been up to the garage and now have the drill and screwdrivers required for next task... and the timer I forgot that! I was wondering around between rooms wondering why I could see no difference!
