Hi everyone,
Just managed to catch up on last weeks thread earlier - kinda fell off flying in favour of trying to sort the big jobs, pack and dealing with mumtowards the end of the week.
Kids are at dad's for a couple for days so I am dividing my day into 2 (or 3!)
I have found some floor in the playroom - I am going to do 30 mins bursts in there and then 30 mins in our bedroom. Once they are sorted I will do the Kitchen list and then tonight when DH gets back I can spend some time in the garage :rotfl:
Thankfully playroom was "looks worse than it actually is" but did look really bad - I seem to remember having a bit of a fling in there last time I gutted it which is probably why it isn't as bad this time...
Well done to everyone who beat a mega hotspot(s) last week!
Hello's to all the new-joining-in-er's :hello:
MumofJust2 - Have a super holiday!!! and re the craft's I used to make jewelery although that was years ago. Just now I am (self-teaching/practicing/remembering) my sewing skills. In the hope that I can make lo a patchwork dora cover for her bed before she a, grows out of the junior bed b, grows out of doratbh I tend to flit through crafts - I figured that sewing (even if only repairing things) would be useful!
ok go to go get a wriggle on!0 -

Any tips for cleaning out the fridge - I'm armed with soda crystals, stardrops, vinegar, bicarb.
Welcome to the thread
Hot soapy water works best for me - and tea towel to dry off.
*whispers* but I don't have any stardrops...
ETA - and congratulations btw!0 -

Hi cheering_bell and welcome , when are you due? I just use hot soapy water for the fridge as well. I think you can use bicarb if it is particularly smelly.0 -

hiya
poohbear - i hope you're feeling a bit better. i live with regular spinning - about 5 big spins a day. it's been going on since dd was born and has been diagnosed as a rare condition that will eventually burn itself out. it can be very tiring though so hugs to you xx
pollybear - hugs to you and your dog. hope she's ok xx
hello to everyone especially the newbies.
i'm thinking of getting up soon as i can only watch bbc1 on the bedroom tv. i'm going to do my list, the kinetic eye toy exercise and then i'm going to walk to tesco (about 40 minutes away). when i get back i'm going to paint a door frame. moving for a year is still a possibility and it's amazing how much it's focused me for getting the house finished, decluttered and clean.
soappie - there's a big black van parked on the road outside your house. it's not blocking your driveway but it's done that annoying thing of parking so close it makes it hard to get out. i'm sending bad punctured tire vibes. oooh, just thought, maybe it's doing work on your house....lol, sorry if it's your builders and i've given them a flat tyre:rotfl: xx0 -
