When we went we bought flights nine months out and then arranged the villa. For a family with BA we paid £750 - Gatwick. Booking would have been in 2005 because we went in 2006.

Send me a link to the villa Jeanie?

    I'm nosey:o

You probably don't need to rush too much with the flights do you?
If you have a good look around you might find cheaper.

You could post what you need flight wise on the holidays board, from to times people traveling ect, see if anyone knows any cheaper?

I don't know how to do links :o

We need to work out flights in the sense of what date to book the Villa - they are flexible. We fancy mid week and from Stansted - but know nothing of Cyprus Airways. As long as are there are plenty of flights out to Paphos during the week we will be alright, but I don't know yet. Don't want to book a date for the villa and then find can't get a flight... I'm rambling.. :o But i know what I mean......... :D

Thank you thank you thank you :D

I really want to thank whoever it was that sent me the Daltons link! (I'll check back in a mo) which led me to Sundance Villas, Cyprus, which is run by Irene - who I spoke to today (sounds lovely).

Irene has arranged our flights, at a price that I think is good £200 per person with Excel (must admit not heard of the airline but Irene says they are good). The villa, Villa Joanne, looks like it will suit all our requirements - not isolated, but private - which will give us time to relax and chill out away from our hectic lives. (I hope).

I liked the look of the site - seems very personal which is nice, the villas vary - but look nice and secluded and nicely fitted out, depending on what one wants and needs,

We looked at hundreds of villas over the past couple of weeks (its felt like months), different things weren't right or too expensive or if we found what we thought was right, it was booked! I've found it quite stressful - good job I don't get away that often!

Thanks to all of you - I'm just going to look back now to see who sent the Daltons link..............
