I made a bag from some old net curtaining to wash small things like socks in. It's quite big enough that I can tie a knot in the top and chuck it in the washer. It only cost pennies to make and I've never lost a sock sinceI let my mind wander and it never came back!0

Hiya, if you do not use a lot of bread you can keep a ready sliced loaf in the freezer and put a slice straight into the toaster when you are hungry.
Whole loafs of bread can be cut in half for sandwiches and the other half frozen.
When you have a tidy up give unwanted magazines to a freind to read instead of putting in the green bin for collection.
OR
go through each mag for recipies and keep the puzzle pages for holidays to save on buying a puzzle book.If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Need to go back now and catch up with the last 3 pages or so, but before I do so I want to say I noticed posts regarding batteries and to make your batteries last a bit longer keep them warm as this provides them with energy, whether they are of the rechargeable sort or not.
Also, something I did today. I was using my kitchen scissors and noticed they had lost their sharpness, so I remembered and old trick I read somewhere: take a small glass bottle and use the scissors on its neck as it trying to cut it. Do it a few times and they regain some sharpness.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Another way to sharpen scissors is to cut some sandpaper with them.0

We've kept our direct debits for gas and electricity at £60 & £30 respectively for the third year running. I'm proud of this as we live in a drafty Edwardian mid-terrace with high ceilings. I've got the keyhole in the hall door (inner) stuffed with alpaca hair I got to put out for the birds for their nests. We're home 24/7 as I'm disabled - mobility problems - and my hubby is my full-time carer. We wear lots of extra layers and keep the heating on 17c during the dayClutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright0

We're doing that too - though we are going away in February - thanks to my sister-in-law, who is paying for us to go to France/Switzerland with her - so I want to run the freezer down. First holiday in years (also means we will have some euros)Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright0
