Took BM dress to be shortened today was going to take it to Johnson's but couldn't get parked and ended up outside a new seamstress shop that had only opened 2 weeks ago.

It's organza over satin plus a lining and she's only going to charge me £10 and it will be ready on Saturday.

Checked that the DJ is still ok and asked him how much he would charge to extend from 12 until 1 - and he's doing an extra hour for nothing.

Have to go to the flower warehouse on Friday as my friend won't order the roses until I've seen them - am only going to keep the peace :rotfl:.

Starting to feel really stressed and worried about everything - could really do with a good night's sleep to chill me out - and I've developed an inability to sit still.

More importantly I've gone right off chocolate :eek:

hi to all you lovely nearly married people!
got lots done this week, dress taken to be altered, flowers ordered(triangle nursery, someone on here recommended!) and rang cancer research to donate instead of favours(lost my dad 2 yrs ago and mum in january to cancer)....we're having civil ceremony and i've just done the cd for the 3 songs we're having. I'm playing it over and over again in my car so I don't cry on the day! I thought it was a good idea to pick Always on my mind by Willie Nelson as we played it at mum and dads funeral (as it was their fave song) but may have to change it for something less meaningful.
