We booked it for a Monday as our honeymoon flight is the Thursday and I couldn't get any more than 3 weeks off work. We sorted out the honeymoon first

we arent having a honeymoon but im just looking into booking a hotel for a few days away afterwards at either thorsbey hotel or one of the macdonalds hotels

DD is going to her dads for 2 weeks so we can have some time to ourselves. The honeymoon is costing more than the wedding :eek: but it'll be fantastic.

jst fount a code on here for 25% off at the www.warnerleisurehotel.co.uk the thoresby one it looks fantastic i think and have booked the royale room, didnt think about doing cashback im on greasypalm, just wondering wether to go see if they had it and kick myself. lol. my firend offered to have them for a week or two but i wouldnt like to leave them for that long youngest is 5 and eldest is 8 but our youngest is a mummy and daddys boy loves his hugs and being with us i would feel too guilty. lol. will just have to have a really nice anniversay holiday in a few yrs time, what do you think my chances are........

My ex always has her for a week in the school holidays but we both usually end up working so don't really get to spend much time on our own. We live a long way away from any family so even a night out is a bonus!

My son lives with his dad anyway so this way DD gets to see him and her step brother and sister.

It will be the longest she has stayed with them and I'll miss her but wasn't going to say no when he offered
