31st at 2pm.. We are having the whole day at a hotel nearby.. as its on a sunday we have managed to get a massive discount!!

Then off to alton towers for a couple of days (the first place we went to when we were dating).. and on our proper honeymoon in november (its cheaper) to either cyprus or paris..

just booked civil ceremony and registrar, cake sorted(fiance is a patassier!).....and honeymoon!......no car, no dress,not alot else!lol.............i'm in east sussex

going to london later this month for dress....don't know what yet!

.........no cars, havent picked meal,(sit down for about 60)..embarassed about wedding gift list because we've both been married before.......and don't know what you do about your passport when you go on honeymoon(name change!)

Your passport must be in the same name as your airline ticket or you cannot travel.

have a look a the home office site as you can change your name up to 3 months in advance.

I'm not going to change mine before I go as I may need to use my credit card while I'm away and I won't be able to change this until I have my marriage certificate so won't have any additional ID.

not sure about the passport thing, (i didnt want to leave the kids for too long dont know why think i must be mad lol so we are doing a couple of nights in a hotel) wedding list why dont you have a honeymoon list and choose things you wouldlike to do on holiday ie snorkelling, spa day etc and people can donate to these things instead im pretty sure if you google there are companys that do it all for you as well for a fee

Thanks for advice, think I'll leave name the same cos I'll need to use credit cards too!......Are there any older brides on here(I'm late 40's!) because I really don't know what to wear, I'd love a really special dress but don't want to look ridiculous!
Mirror I think your suggestion for honeymoon list is brilliant, we are only going to Venice for a few days but there are some trips etc we'd love to do!
