I haven't done much wedding stuff this week although I decided to sort out the spare bedroom so I can get everything for the wedding in one room rather than stacked around the house.
yesterday I spent making cushion covers so I could move the cushion pads and the fabric out of there (they've only been there since sept 06 )
was going to steam my underskirt with the iron this morning but decided I'd better use it for it's original purpose first then tried to squeeze DD's clothes in her wardrobe and was still there 3 hours later as I ended up sorting out her bedroom. Now have a bootful of things to go to the charity shop and 3 large piles of clothes to eBay which ended up in the spare bedroom . She has some clothes in the bottom of her wardrobe for age 4 and she's 8but at least she can now put everything away!
i have just bought a sixpence for my shoe from eBay decided to get the year of my dad's birth and got one each for the mums as part of their pressies.
Am now shattered will be glad to work tomorrow for a rest :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

We started decorating our bedroom in Sept 06 and we still have no wardrobes .
We are doing the house next year. Hopefully we will get some donations towards the kitchen at least from our wedding list. Am thinking of asking for B&Q and Ikea vouchers to help out with some of it.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

good idea that witht he ikea vouchers and b&q, im just had enough at the moment cause in the past 5 yrs we have moved three times and not once have i not lived in a building site lol all my babies pics are so funny cause they are walking round with hard hats and hammers and tools and stuff, (obviously supervised) but this is it now we are in a lovely position and area so im staying, no more moving for me waheynow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

Snap - we've moved 3 times in the last 5 years too!
I'm not going anywhere - we have a huge pond for the koi in the garden and i'm not digging another one.
Don't think we would be able to afford a house with a big enough garden for the fish and the birds (OH breeds budgies). God knows how we would move them all either :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

how much of a nightmare is it lol and all my mates go "oh it will be all right in the end" but the point is when is the end i dont think it will end like ever. i have givem him 3 yrs to get it done (bearing in mind he is building an extension on side and back too ) and if it isnt done by then and i mean completley then im selling my flat and paying some one to finish it all off, i just want a nice house and somewhere to relax when i finish work, (oh and somewhere the kids cant find me)
might need somewhere for all the cats to live soon too, lol long story but we lost our dog in feb and decided to get a rescue cat which we did 6 weeks ago then our neighbour moved about 4 weeks ago and abandoned thier cat so we have taken it in and took her to vets on fri to be spayed where they promptly told us that she was pregnant, im now sitting in a corner quitley rocking lolnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -

I got all the chocolates for the tables. Not only are they chocolates for after the meal, they are decoration on the plates we are using as centre pieces.
I'd planned to buy the foil wrapped hearts or balls from a site selling wedding sweets. It was £25 per Kilo. Well I had a bright idea - I managed to get 1 and 1/2 Kilos of chocolates for less than £6! I went into Tescos and Morrisons and they had bags of little Divine Chocolate eggs left over from Easter. They were £3.79 a bag and were down to 87p. (And I got one bag for 43p as some blighter had opened the bag and eaten a few!):T
I am so pleased as not only are they lovely chocolates and look as good as the ones I'd planned to buy, these are fairtrade!
Mum also bought a ton of Shloer Bucks Fizz as it was BOGOF in Morrisons.
And we took my OH to see the reception venue for the first time. I've been to tons of weddings there but OH didn't know the place. He was really pleased with it, and the manager is a lovely friendly chap.0
