had a hair trial last night - my head still hurts from where they decided to get some height into my hair :rotfl:
Have decided on staying fairly close to what I have (chin length bob) but with some back combing behind my tiara.
Having another go plus make up next week.
Off to the venue on Friday and picking bridesmaids dresses up on Saturday - daren't risk having them delivered. Following weekend off to Scotland so other 2 BMs can try theirs on - fingers crossed they fit!
OH told me his daughter now has a few tattoos - one of which is apparently on her neck  will see next weekendJust hope she hasn't died her hair bright red or she'll clash.
Still waiting for a few replies but just about sorted now good job really as its getting scarily close now.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I know this is a bit of a late question but who do you buy the thankyou presents for? And when do you present them?
It's now 3 weeks on Friday till my big day
I've got everything apart from the middle tier of the cake :rotfl:
I've bought it from Tesco, the only decent tiers in at the time were the small and the large so have bought those. Just waiting for a decent medium size to be in stock!
OH has been and got measured for his and best mans suits. I've got to take DS on Friday to be measured for his.
Have got bridesmaids shoes now, tiaras are on their way. Need a couple of necklaces and that's them done!
I'm getting quite nervous now hoping that everything goes to plan. Passports and tickets are ready for the honeymoon. Babysitter and dogsitter are sorted.
Good luck to everyone in the final stages of planning :TSealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

We've got presents for our dad's and brothers (1 each). We'll be giving them these before the ceremony.
Presents for bridesmaids (and MOH hopefully but still no clue what to give her!) OH step Mum (she's making the cake so it's a thanks for that) and my Mum (she's not helped for the wedding but she does a lot of babysitting so it's a thanks for that) We'll be handing these out during the grooms speech.A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Picked up the bridesmaids dresses this morning - another case of big dresses in very small bags
. They are lovely but at least one will need shortening.
Went to venue last night with 3 friends and made all sorts of important decisions like how I wanted the napkins folded - face went completely blank when she asked 2 friends fell about and the other one was right interested in the possibilities.
Hotel manager was over the moon about the fish - has been waiting for someone to do it apparently - wonder how long it will take her to change her mind and they are letting us keep the flowers in the cellar overnight and letting us use a conference room if we need somewhere to arrange them - really helpful and friendly and we even got to see an evening reception as there was a wedding there. The hall even looked gorgeous in the pouring rain.
Hmmmmm thin I might just be getting excited - about time was a month yesterday :eek:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hello everyone
Can I join in? We have just (this week) provisionally booked ours for friday 22nd august at 11am at a registry office, and really panicking a bit now. Today we bought invitations, my dress and the rings (off the rack). Still looking for reception venue, and still not sure about numbers (small perhaps 35?) Any tips for last minute weddings?:money:0 -
Wow monkey, that is last minute!
Don't blame you though, less time to the wedding, less time to fret about the stuff that doesn't matter!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... That was the idea, but I'm not sure! - and OH-to-be is a teacher so we really only have the holidays! Thanks though, will be nice to have some support for when I'm going a bit crazy!

Whereabouts are you? What sort of reception are you wanting as that's a really popular weekend being the bank holiday as well.
Don't panic - it will all come together at least you don't have weeks to fret over the small stuff :rotfl:. I've just found out that OH still hasn't delivered one of the invites and I need final numbers next week - any suggestions for a non messy way to kill him - don't want to have to clean upOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
