Oh, I wish the bloody weather would get better!! It's been persisting down all day, and I am fed up with the rain now.

I haven't done anything off my list today. Just got up from an afternoon nap as obviously sitting on my ar$3 all day looking at the computer exhausts me :)

Kyle hope your feeling better soon.
Iv been busy again, crazychick helped me take my old cooker to my friends new house and collected a sofa from crazys mums for her also. Thanks mate (())

All in all not done to bad at all for my friend this week she started off with nothing and now only really needs a washer and fridge freezer, which im keeping a eye on freecycle for, she is really shocked by what iv managed to collect from different people for her, sofa, 3 beds, dressing table, 3 set of drawers, 2 tvs, hoover, dvd players, bookshelves, wardrobes, curtains, nets, kettle, toasters, slow cooker, the list goes on.
She is now feeling alot more possitive about leaving her husband and can see light at the end of the tunnel so to speak.

Right off to settle down bath the kids and chill out before a day of screaming like the mad football mother i am at ds1 semi final.
    Have great evenings everyone.
    Hugs ((()))

New posters - HI!!! pleased to meet you ... and welcome to this fab thread which motivates me daily :D

Well.... not a fantastically productive day for me .. although am now on top of washing :T Just ironing to go  I'm soo short of space to hang it though (I iron when it's wet) ... but will get it done when DD's are asleep. Went shopping earlier .. Lidl's got some great offers on meat/poultry n veg - 800g mince for £1.69 and 3 pork steaks for about the same. I can't wait to get a chest freezer as there just never seems to be enough room in my standard size one for all the delicious dishes I want to whizz up ;) .

Anyway .. I'm going to meal plan while we watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, do the ironing and then leave the rest til tomorrow.

hope everyone has a nice evening xx

    evening all

Well we went out for our walk, and what is it with men thinking they know where they are going, and managing to get totally lost  , he insisted that we go the wrong way, and it poured with rain. I have an inbuilt homing device, I always know where we have left the car, but would he listen ? would he heck, so we had a long long walk through the woods in the rain, and as he had forgotten to take a coat he was freezing :D I got us back eventually, so my legs are aching a little bit, and the dog is flaked out.

Treated myself to a new game for the PS2 today, I play it more than my DD :D , keeps me out of trouble

Had the salmon and pasta with hollandaise for tea, it was delish, DD is still out with her dad, expecting her back at about nine.

Lots of newbies today hello to you all :T its great here xx

Ageandjo enjoy having your mum back tomorrow, will go to bairds to have a look, thanks xx

Smokey hugs to you, wish I could to something to help you all.

    Hi everyone :hello:

And a massive ((((((BIG HUG)))))) for our brave smokeybabe. When you feel ready and up to it, do pop in for a chat in the arms as you used to - I did like chatting with you. :A

Well, it's been quite a while since I posted on the daily thread, but that's mainly because I had nothing worthwhile to say. Usual routines, working like mad and doing housework as and when...

Anyway, my news is that I've decided to get a slow cooker. I went into Argos today but all theirs seemed to be rather big. I really want to see one for size and to make sure it has the settings I want (low and high, and possibly a medium too) and expecially a timer, as it was recommended to me by someone. So I'm planning to go into John Lewis on Monday as I'll be doing a survey near Oxford Street. I've been checking out the various sc threads in here, and can't wait to make a nice stew in it

Someone also told me about a strange practice called "dieting", but I'm not sure I got that one right yet... :o

Have a good evening everyone! :)
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
