Hiya
Back again. Feeling much more positive now strangely as when did our business accounts we realised we wont be able to get through the next couple of months. Have made a decision though & we are going to go with debt factoring - will be speaking to my accountant on Monday. So although it isnt good news still feel better as we have done something about it.
Cant do anythng re OH's court summons other than instruct a solicitor (done) & wait for the 12th May so will try and not think about it at the moment.
OH has cleaned the house and done all the washing. I have done loads og paperwork and may continue but first need to speak to the family & do the mealplan for next week.
Also managed to cheer myself up by going to the library and now have 5 new books to read.
Have leftover chicken & rice for dinner.
Enjoy the rest of your saturday.
Loadsa (((hugs))) for those feeling low.

Hello 1 Step closer
Welcome to the board!
I ended up going to Asda whilst DD was at the party and have treated myself to a stock potHave always wanted one, at the moment if i make big batches of stuff i have to use 2 pans but now i can do it all in one :j Theres a huge batch of chilli simmering in it at the moment. I couldn't wait to show OH when i got back but he just didn't 'get' it  Failed to see how anyone could get excited about a pan lol

Afternoon to everyone,
Hope you are all having a good weekend. If not, I hope it improves for you. I went down to the library this morning to return some books and got totally soaked! I then got home and made some coconut ice, as a present for a family friend. I'm sure my OH will scoff some of it as well though:rolleyes:.
RedRuby - I'm glad you had a nice time in Hereford. Hay On Wye is one of my favourite places to get books from.
Smokey - Just thinking of you and your family.
Also, welcome to the new peeps on here today.
Anyhow, have a lovely afternoon all. Best Wishes - PowieA woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0 -
Thank you for the lovely welcome! I'm on my second lot of washing while the dogs snore away. They think they're getting a long walk later but the weather is just too bad, so lots of cuddles instead!

Hi Gang
Been a bit out of the loop what with flooring, doors and tiling this week. Just last decoration a week on Monday and that will be the kitchen complete. Every time I look at the tiles I can see the dull sheen of grout. I seem to remember that it took a while to keep buffed up when we got the bathroom done.
Now have the 3 boys here until Monday (am I a glutton for punishment!!!!!)The baby is well and truly mobile so have had to dig out the stair gate again.
Hope you are fine.
Smoky - I cannot give you an answer or even imagine what you are going through. It is going to take time. Bereavement counselling may help. I am sure there is probably a group in your area. Also please remember that we are all here for you either publically or privately via pms. Love and hugs to you and the children.

Ahem: WM on twice. TD on (it's been tipping it down here!) SC on, BM on floors doneNew book(from work "swap shop") ignored (for now...)
Okay this might sound normal for you guys, but this is unprecedented Chez Morwenna! (I always cook, but the HW doesn't usually get done on a Saturday.) The original "Slummy Mummy" I know..
*Hugs* for Smokey and Benthosboy and anyone else who need one..
Twink: Your Hobnobs are fab! I did them this time with "posh" porridge oats with dried cranberry and rasberries and they came out fab! (these were inexplicably reduced at the Co-Op bbe August 08?)
