Well done Bertiebots! :T :T You should be rightly proud of yourself and the kids are going to love you for it when they get camping next year. ;)

Thats inspired me to get my 'walley trolley' out again. It used to come out once a month when I visited the farmers market so I could buy sacks of onions and carrots. Haven't been in ages but I'm going on Saturday so I'll have to dust my little wheely friend down again. :D

The joy of it is that I always set out pulling it along but 100 yds down the path I'll start doing puppy eyes at my teenage sons and DS1 is a sucker for that and ends up taking over. Love being a mum of teenage lads... they're so easy to wrap around your finger. :p

LOL :rotfl: my sil was with me and kept looking round to see if people were looking...they werent! I really dont know why people are so bothered by them ,mine is really funky bright pink and covered with flowers!! They also do a flowery blue one at Ikea and I think she is going to get one too. We didnt want to match..then people might stare:rotfl:

Just had MrT delivery. It came to £110.29.

Ok, there is quiet a lot of meat in it. We have split it up and put into the freezer. That should last us hopefully until the end of next month. Maybe some nice bits of meat to be picked up from the butchers (of the reduced shelf).

Our new freezer is coming tomorrow. All I have to do then, is transfer the contents from old to new freezer. The old freezer is still hanging in there.......just.

    Nice evening all.

    Egon

Need to seriously buckle down on this GC, my working tax credit and Disability allowance have been stopped because since they have lowered the threshold i now earn too much apparently. So i have just lost £150 per week:eek:   Doing quite well on GC so far, just need to be super careful. Heading out to Makro on friday to have a look at their prices:confused:

Why has your dis ben been stopped ? Is this the disabillity element of the WTC??

Just wanted to share with you that our grocery budget now caters for an additional member of the frankerooney clan, born on Saturday afternoon (DH's 30th birthday!) in the hospital birthing pool.
    Welcome little frankerooney!
