Did you get more credit whilst you were on the DMP?
i carried on spending and didnt stick to my budget. I hadnt applied for new credit. I know I have broken the rules though, and will have to tell them this. It was hard as my husband didn't know about any of it so I carried on as before so he wouldn't 'suspect'. Now things are so bad.life should be about wanting what you have, not having what you want...0 -
What I'm about to say may well cut right across the strong advice usually given in such cases, but my instinct is for you to delay telling your husband until you have made a clean breast of everything to your CCS advisor.
When your husband comes home this evening(forgive me if my inference is wrong here)you can tell him everything, BUT know you have a way of coming back on track.
If you have to delay telling him this UNTIL you have a new plan from CCCS, I would be in favour, on the strength of what we know from your posts thus far.

Often people post on DFW with this sort of issue (hiding debt from partner) because the OH has simply 'washed their hands' of the responsibility of the debt and lets the other simply get on with it.
If this is the case with you, then it's you who should be annoyed, not your hubby. Marriage is a partnership, not a limited company where you're the finance director.
Good luck with telling him, but bear in mind that if he'd taken an interest in your joint finances earlier on, perhaps you'd be in less of a mess, or even no mess at all.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Good luck with telling him as it is really best in the long run.As you have found you cannot live the lifestyle he is used to and keep to the plan.I'm sure he will be ok with you.0

I realise now I should have done this. Too late i'm afraid. He has packed up and gone. I have only two nappies left for the little one and £2 in my purse. Hoping he calms down and comes back. I don't work and my husband is a full time student. I had to beg and borrow to get by.life should be about wanting what you have, not having what you want...0 -
