I note your web site is promoting the talk talk uswitch offer. We tried to sign up for that and talk talk said there was no such offer, has anyone else been turned down?

I'm already with talktalk but only for calls not free broadband. For broadband I'm with Zen however I quite like this two month free uswitch offer, couple of quick questions first though:
1. Would I get it? Existing Customer and all that....
2. Can I sign up for the Talk3 international package, and not the Talk2 as I make calls during the day as well as evenings/weekends and still benefit from the two months free?
Any advice gratefully appreciated, or if I'm asking in the wrong area about Martin's latest email promotion can someone bump this question to the right track please!? Thanks.0 -

You only get the £48 if you are a paid up member of cashbackkings. Otherwise cashbackkings deduct their annual admin fee of £5.
You need to sign up for both calls and broadband to get the £48 (or £43).0 -
hi sorry to be thick so if i register with them will i get £43 back? and is there a timescale of how long you have to be registered? thanks0

I've attempted to sign up through that link.
Two issues - first, it kept giving an error message "email address not unique". Eventually - after a fruitless phone call to them - I removed the email address altogether and it let me apply. I then tried phoning them to add the email address at their end but that "can't be done until the application is processed". Of course, they've no email address of mine to contact me to tell me how the application is processing !!!
Secondly, the £29.99 'connection fee' is in very small print and doesn't really come to light until you sign up. It wasn't mentioned in MSE's weekly email which got my interest initially, either. Maybe MSE missed it too. I think that needs to be factored in to the cost.
Still, all being well, I'll end up with them and saving money, fingers crossed.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

It's a cashback site, so read up on them before you use them (in particular note they won't guarantee you'll get the cashback).

You can use the site as soon as you are registered, though the cashback will take months to be paid.0 -

This was a big oversight by Martin.0 -
After seeing MSE's recommendation, I have today signed up for Talktalk's offer, which ends in 2 days time. However, Martin said that this offer included the connection charge, but when I applied through the link, it said that I would be charged £29.99 connection charge! Martin should be made aware of this error and change his advice accordingly. Or has Talktalk made a mistake?
Has anyone else noticed this?
(I still think this is a good deal).:T0 -
