Must admit, my initial reaction was "it's a house". But then I am replying, so that makes me just as bad.
Also, for 170k in Bury, I would expect some kind of wardrobe with a 'Narnia portal' included in the price.0 -

Hope you and your family flourish in your new home.
I'm a bit suprised though, that you diden't wait for a House Price Correction after all, that's what you have always advocated nelly, if everyone buys a property like you did, and pays the market value {or near enough} how can prices ever drop ? think you've let your side down badly.
Ever heard of a saying "practice what you preach":(
If property prices dropped 20% {not 40%-50%} you would be paying £34,000 less for that house, you've got to do a lot of plasterwork to make £34,000 nett.
Maybe he bought a HOME for him and his family, does happen you know.0 -
Nice to hear someone who's bought a house and not turned into Mr House-prices-can-only-ever-rise-and-a good-thing-too overnight.
Enjoy your house!0 -

Can I suggest that you should have spent your money on a dictionary or spell checker instead?
Anyway congratulations, I hope you get in and make it nice and homely faster than I’ve been sorting out my burrow.
Oh and if you refit the kitchen don’t go to MFI  (shame there isn't a smiley for "this has been going on so long I am about to go postal")0 -
Strange sized bedrooms!! Is this because it was a 3 bed now converted into a 4 bed?
Or is Bedroom Four, 6'9 x 6'9, specially built for Cloth cap n' Whippet?0 -
Isn't that a bit pot and kettle? Coming from someone in West Sussex where a piece of land 6' 9" x 6' 9" would probably cost £170,000.Strange sized bedrooms!! Is this because it was a 3 bed now converted into a 4 bed?
Or is Bedroom Four, 6'9 x 6'9, specially built for Cloth cap n' Whippet?A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Are you terribly posh or or did you just get the spelling wrong?! 'Hise' indeed....!'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it....for much longer!'0

Hmm, loverly house - and in Bury too. I particularly like the blue surfaces in the kitchen.
Hmmmm, still "subject to contract" - I might offer more for this house... Now then, what's Mark Boultons number? ah yes 01706-622886...Andy
The older I get, the better I was...0
