I know the white pretend georgian leaded windows off set the white painted pebble dashing makes it look like the local branch of the braile society were instructed to build an igloo and its infact even uglier in person but I have plans and an ammount of ability with a paint brush and a hammer so that s ok
Anyway
I have wanted house prices to drop for years, and even though they are now, in some places. I still want them to drop, I dont care iff they fall off a cliff tomorow.
And not cos of the old 'I bought a home not an investment!'
But because the price of housing in this country is stupid!
The only ones who try to say they arnt are estate agents and others who stand to gain financially but worse of all greedy lazy morons who think talking up the market is ok because they think they are making money.
They are self centered, selfish, vile, scum who think of no one but themselves.
And they are thick!.... cos 90 odd percent of them wont even sell it and will just die
Some of them try to proxy it off through their kids saying 'I will pass it to them'
Like thats why they like their house going up! lying bastages
The less houses cost the better for everyone. Everyone will have more money in their pockets to spend on fun stuff or entertainment/enjoyment rather than give thousands to a bank.

Its why i run your official supporters club nelly..i totally agree with your sentiments0 -
Looks like they turfed the lawn too.....the local branch of the braile society....
Anyway, best of luck in the new place Nelly. :beer:A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
It's a recession when your neighbour loses his job; it's a depression when you lose yours.0 -
Its a good size of house. I hope its works out really well for you

Here's to wonderful memories.........Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
Best wishes in your new home.
I guess you decided not to go to auction then?
Nice wheelie bins and back garden! Why did they use those photos?
You'll have to show us some pics once you've been at it with a hammer.
GGThere are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.0 -
So you've bought a house, big deal! What is the point of this post?0

Cos mr broderick likes every opportunity to thank nelly and nelly needs his thanked count to go up.

ps Like the bathroom floor, is that real woodblocks? I think you should expand, you could get 5 vans down the side of the house.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Love that description!
The EA's photographer should be taken out and shot. Or the person (and the person?) who decided to leave the bins out, wanted a shot of a depressingly uncared for garden in a grey light, etc.
Hope you are very happy in your new home....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Hope you and your family flourish in your new home.
I'm a bit suprised though, that you diden't wait for a House Price Correction after all, that's what you have always advocated nelly, if everyone buys a property like you did, and pays the market value {or near enough} how can prices ever drop ? think you've let your side down badly.
Ever heard of a saying "practice what you preach":(
If property prices dropped 20% {not 40%-50%} you would be paying £34,000 less for that house, you've got to do a lot of plasterwork to make £34,000 nett.0
