Dear kriptrich
Speak to them on the phone. They will try to tell you that you signed up, which you might have inadvertently done, but just demand they give you your money back. They will offer 3 months refund, say this is fine, but how do you get the rest of your money back and they will email their pathetic form which will only take you 20 seconds to fill in. Send this back (I scanned mine and emailed it back). Then phone them the next day to check if they are going to refund you. Do not let them fob you off, be insistent, but try to remain calm. I got my full £70 back straight away which shows it's a scam!
Good luck

BTW
In case anyone is wondering what they actually get for their £10 per month.........."up to 10% discount at over 800 online stores". You would need to spend at least £100 per month on Internet shopping to get your money back each month!!!! RIDICULOUS and OUTRAGEOUS Grrrrrrrrrr.:mad::mad::mad:0 -

Here is a copy of the letter I sent to them on behalf of my sister after they promised to refund 3 months worth:
Your ref: Membership number XXXXXXXX
Dear Sir
I refer to the attached Refund Request.
I have noted that for 30 consecutive months that your company has drawn £10 per month from my bank account. I understand from telephone conversations with yourselves that this was brought about by a purchase that I made via Ticketmaster. I was not aware that by submitting my details to this company that I could have been inadvertently tricked into taking out a subscription with yourselves.
I have not taken advantage of any of your services because (a) I did not wish to be subscribed to them and (b) I did not until a week ago, realise that I was subscribed to them.
Your offer to refund three months subscription is wholly unacceptable and I require that you refund each and every payment taken, which amounts to a total of £300.00
I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,0 -
I too found out today that I have been the victim of the scam since April 2010. I am so glad that I am not the only one but at the same time am enraged as to why the company is still up and running. Thank you Steve I will use the letter If you don't mind and hope that I am fully refunded. I will also look into it further and see if something more can be done. It has certainly taught me something though.....from now on I will always check my bank statements!!!!!0

Hi all,
I'm yet another to add to this. Luckily it only started Dec 2011. I'v contacted shopperdisc by email and am awaiting my response.
I have absolutely no idea how I've signed up, I used Interflora once well over a year ago but as yet have no other idea how they've gotten my details as I don't shop on-line very often. I've received no emails from them or any other forms of communication notifying me of my membership.
My mother in-law has also fallen victim, unfortunately hers has been running alot longer but it seems they have gotten her details from a book club(books direct) which she has had no on-line dealings with whatsoever actually she does not use the internet at all. So that's another one to be weary of.
I cannot believe the length of time this has been going on, why has this not been stopped? I'd never heard of them until I noticed the payments on my statements so I am going to be sure everyone I know is fully aware of this problem. I will also contact my local paper and get my childrens school to warn other parents.0 -

Update to my previous post. Shopperdisc have now responded, agreed to my cancellation and refund and have informed me I signed up when I placed an online order with PIZZA HUT. I am absolutely stunned and disgusted and will be making a complaint to pizza hut.:mad:0 -
Dear all
I contacted credit rating matters and rewards first (same people) by email and they immediately refunded me £215 which was great. Only £450 to go!!
Since then they have been very quiet so I will be ringing them today.
I have contact my MP and am told that he will sign up to an early day motion in parliament which has been drawn up to try to put a stop to this scheme but if they ask the OFT to do it then not much will happen.0 -
Not much joy form a phone call to a bloke called Bob Stevens a "senior customer service advisor". He says we have lodged a complaint and that it will be responded to within 14 days. There is no offer of a refund of the rest of the money as yet.
Any ideas where we go next? Small claims court? Lawyer (I have a relative who will write me a letter)? Sit tight?
Fuming or what!!0 -
