  • Nothing for me this month - but I knew I wouldn't win every month.
    The point of doing premium bonds was the chance of winning higher prizes - plus it was a bit more exciting than looking at my savings account and saying "oh look dear another £75 interest this month!"

    Trademark, I have £13000 in PBs and last year won £50 in nine of the twelve months and one £100. The bonds are many years old and the original investment was £10000. I know it's a poor return overall but I have just not got around to doing anything else with the money. Incidentally a lady finance writer in The Times has always asserted that new bonds are more likely to win. No logic put forward. She used to say we should sell the ones we have and buy new ones.
