Nothing....again.....my yearly average is...ummm....0%!
Methinks my money is better off elsewhere......PB's may be better than wasting your money on lottery tickets, but this is silly!0 -
The higher prize list has been updated even though it still says December.
Good luck folks!

Just something I've noticed. A lot of the bonds which win the higher band prizes are blocks of £5000. I noticed that last month too. I guess most people must buy them like that?
£5000 blocks represent 56% approx of the higher prize winnings from a quick count. Maybe I'll buy in a £5000 block to increase my luck?!0 -
That's because the maximum bond value is £5000.
If you wish to invest, say, £25341, you'll be sent five bonds for £5000 and one for £341.
You're not sent 25341 separate bonds.0 -
Have had £20k in premium bonds since June this year, winnings as follows:
June 2 X £50
July 1 X £50
Aug 1 X £50
Sep 1 X £100 and 1 X £50
Oct 3 X £50 and 1 X £100
Nov - nothing!
Dec - nothing!
That's £600 in 6 months - which is a better return than a 5% interest rate on a bank account (plus it's interest free and I'm a higher rate tax payer).
Just waiting to see if January has come in with anything - but the true test will be after a year to see if it continues or not.0 -
Stevie, it's all luck and looks like your having a good run! I had 30k for 3 months and never won a bean. I cashed out 25k's worth and put it back into savings and left 5k in. Last 2 months, nothing. Waiting for this months now. Probably....nothing!
Seems so strange and random that you can win all that and I can win nothing over the same type of period as yourself, but with another 33% chance!0
