    It does make you wonder.

When I have a block of bonds that stop winning for several months I sell up and buy new blocks and strangely, like you, I notice that I have a change of fortune. Certainly makes you wonder doesn't it?

The OH and I have 60k of bonds. 5 out of the last 6 months we have had nothing. The other month gave us 6 small prizes.

This is a pattern we have had before, although not as extreme.

Having studied statistical analysis I have to say the pattern of our wins is on the very edge of probability....

2 x £25 for me this month (on 23k holding) .... the return over 3 years has been almost spot on the notional "interest" rate of 1.35% .
