That is brilliant jcwn03 - does it make you want to buy more bonds or are you happy with your stake in this already?

£100 is the optimum holding! Why should they increase it when PB's are rubbish:confused:
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

2x£50 in August with approx £28k holding - £650 in total winnings this year
  • Well, I bought £1000 in 1994 and another £1000 in 2007 and my holdings with my £50 win for August are now £2400.

  • What I find interesting is there are 74 pages x20 replies per page. No end to the amount of people that have asked; Do you know anybody or have you read anywhere about ANYBODY actually winning the million pound prize.
The most I read about was somebody knowing somebody that won 100k.
What are the odds on that.?? Weird conspiracy but that's pretty unbelievable.

The numbers of all the winning bonds are listed on websites (e.g. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/premiumbonds).

    So where is the conspiracy?
Are you suggested NS&I bought themselves bonds in the past and are making themselves win in 2008? Or that the bonds don't even exist? Or that they kill off the winners therefore nobody on the forum knows of any winners?
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
