Understand. I tend to avoid forums after too much, since I tend to regret what I have written later!
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

You have to buy the first lot by post (you can make the application online or pick up a form at any post office), then you can top-up online - link here http://www.nsandi.com/products/pb/applynow.jsp

After putting all my bonds into a large group 11600 ... I have won every month except jan ... my winnings at this time are well in advance of any bank or ISA so why would I want to change them.

I now hold 17,500 ... 5550 are prizes from 2008 alone ... tell me the bank that can give me that interest and i will open an account tommorrow.

I understand that others have not been so lucky.

I have built a spreadsheet that tells me what I could earn from a bank and it sucks with what I get from my Bonds.

I have 3 holdings of 5000 ... these groups win more than any other and I will never get rid of them.

Even my winnings are winning now ... As a ex -pat I cant get an ISA so my bonds work well for me and I love the anticipation of the next draw and hopeing Im there again.
