    Hi guys,

Just need a little bit of advice.

I have £500 of PB that i purchased in august and i am looking to purchase another £29,500 in the next few weeks.

Would i be better buying blocks of PB rather than a whole block of 29,500? I was thinking of buying blocks of around £5000 or £10000 just to spread the numbers out a bit?

    Cheers. :money:

Spreading the numbers out a bit has zero effect on your chances of winning - so you would be no better and no worse off doing it. The only reason to do it is the feel-good factor.

Timing your purchase in the last few days of the month is a good suggestion though

...if your not the type of person who makes large transactions frequently via debit card - then there is always a possibilty that you could lose access to the funds for a few days too - banks security measures may put a hold on the ammount so if you were to then try again with a smaller ammount - it simply would not work as its locked up and account being monitored.

A cheque over the counter, is the best way....makes sense as it will have your bond holders number on the back and you can even add your address/cheque guarantee card details if you wanted...less chance a bank will doubt the purchase as dodgy.

    Sometimes...banks just interfere with life!!

Brill £150 this month (on £21k).

That's £650 since beginning of June - not bad.

None for me for the last 3 years. It probably has something to do with the fact that I don't have any 2014.gif
