    Evening

No spend day today either - well technically, possibly

Continuing with my ebay shopping and got a top for DD for 99p :j so I can take this out of the clothes budget really :D

Hoping to have a stressfree weekend, free in-house meal with friends tomorrow night, last minute nervous run     and sorting my ipod tunes out for the Marathon.

Have spent about £70 this week, which is £70 more than I expected or wanted but it was one of those weeks  Am doing 200% better than I was before returning to the board though, when I was spending money and taking no account for it or justifying it. We have £170 left of "spends" for this month and I have set aside a different sum for the marathon weekend as this is not normal spends.

Anyway, blabbering on now.............off to nosey around

    Hi JB,

Well done on sticking with your diary.

I find mine is like a form of counselling, absolutely brilliant.

Re the gas I changed to Atlantic for dual fuel cos they were the cheapest on a comparison site for me, and Iget a rebate every 12th month. Dont forget to go through one of the cash back sites for whoever you go with, extra money on top for you and cheaper bills, win win:j .

Will keep popping in from time to time, keep up the good work

Thought I better come back in case I fall off the wagon ;)

Had a pretty good weekend money wise, weather has meant we have stayed in and done cheap family stuff. Not got round to changing gas supplier yet, I have to do it this week whilst it's still annoying me.

Managed to complete my wedding outfit on ebay and still watching a few things for the kids. Am being quite disciplined as I am bidding the last minute my top price and then not looking at it again, to stop being drawn into the trap of upping my price and I am doing ok so far :j

Just washed and ironed whole load of clothes which I just need to photo and then will stick on ebay tonight. Think I have enough stuff to recoup the cost for what I have spent on ebay so our outfits will in effect be free :D

Went for a pre-marathon run yesterday and really enjoyed it, feeling very nervous but sincerely hope that this time next week it will be over. Sponsorship is still coming in and have made over £3.5k so far :j Have got to sort out letters on my running vest etc and some bodyglide (yuck for those areas of chafing  ) and I am all sorted.

Worked out we have spent over £100 this week but it has been one of those weeks, needed medicines for kids, stuff for rabbit (who is looking very unhappy and so off to vets I think we do :( ) BUT I am including in that figure the money spent on ebay and will deduct that once I have sold stuff (fingers crossed)

How exciting, now snowing quite heavily and I am tucked up in the warm inside - just as I like it :D

Thank you sweetie re ipod, I think that I will get it ready but in all likelihood will need the crowds to keep me going.

I feel so much for you as I know how much you wanted to run. I also thought I would pull out at one point and felt sick, buy hey maybe we could run it together if I get a place next year? Would be good to meet you after all this time as well. I am enjoying not running at such intensity but am going to train for a better time in North Run for October - OMG I'm turning into a running geek.

Am ready to throw my computer away - trying to list stuff on ebay but it won't let me schedule the listings as it says I have a credit card on file which I do  hate ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Taxi - I don't quite believe it myself

Am trying so hard this month with finances, feel so annoyed with myself for slipping. Also worked out that years ago when the mess seriously started we were in a position to pay lots of and instead I just spent it!! Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?
