Thank you honey - I do intend to stick around of course, have learnt my lesson now:rolleyes:
We have one of those cans that you have to open with a can opener and have been putting £1 and £2 coins in it, I think it is about half full. I now have an unhealthy obsession however that if I see a £2 coin I really absolutely cannot spend it. I was counting the money from collection boxes for FLM and I was having palpitations about the £2 coins in there that I was having to give to the bank :rotfl:
I've been very good as well and have been replying to posts too :j
Off to do some splendid work now..............or have just another quick look on the internet.

Reporting for duty....
Today I wrote a cheque for £20 when I collected DH's trousers and that was it :j :j :j No unexpected spends and no luxuries purchased....I'm quite liking this now
DH is being fab, produced an excellent low budget meal and has not touched the money in the tin although we do need milk, so I guess I'll let him:rolleyes:
Going to eat my easter egg now that has been sat for far too long for my liking!Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
Morning

Feel much better about financial institutions this morning after my debacle with the bank yesterday. Toddled off to the local Post Office where lady told me to bring in as much change as I like and she will deal with it for me - the bank could learn a thing from that very nice woman :j
Had to do emergency spends this morning as no milk  children were not impressed so i thought I could justify spending money. My total so far since Monday however is £38.51, £20 of that on clothes alterations, £10 on meal out and about £7 on staple foods so no real waste this week :j
It does make a huge difference having DH on board though but it is the threat of him not having a weekend away in a few months time that is keeping him on the straight and narrow me thinks

Yay to the post office, could they have a word with my one up here as they won't take it unless you are buying something with it...
Have a good day today and big hugs

Good to hear the PO lady was nice to you! I think banks are too busy trying to sell you loans etc to bother with customer service anymore!! Go to pay in a cheque and they spend ten minutes going on about an account review and what other 'services' aka ways to get more money out of you that they can 'offer'.. but they won't spend a couple of minutes weighing some change!!
