I was thinking of you today when I bought myself a pair of air max + trainers...you can use them with the sports kit of an I-pod nano...I don't have an i-pod but thought of you doing your marathon and your i-pod...0

Another day, another day closer to Sunday
Good news on ebay front, worked out I have spent £59 on wedding outfits for me, DS and DD plus two summer tops and a dress for holiday. So far my four items are up to £30 on ebay with 36 hours to go :j :j Have just shoved all the clothes in the washing machine and will get them ironed and ready to post as soon as the money dropped.
Had to take what we had in savings and put it in the joint account as will need it to pay for hotel in London and meals - felt quite despondent doing it as savings are back to nil
but by July I should be setting aside money for the "big things" regularly again, just a really bad few months ahead with too many committments etc. On the positive side though, at least it hasn't gone on the CC.
Now looking around the house thinking what else can I sell...............
Also waiting for DH's credit card statement from MBNA to come through as the 0% deal ends this month or next month, can't remember which so I have finger poised to look for a new deal. Also going to put the overdraft on a 0% credit card when I have to reapply as that deal finishes in May, which means that my signature will have to go up as I'm just pretending I'm not overdrawn
Need to do some serious work today - whilst at home with kids - luck needed!
4 days 23 hours 37 minutes to go  :rotfl:

as they say in the bingo roomies GLGLGLGLGLGLGL!!!!:T
I know what you mean about using the savings, it's not good is it but you are right, that credit card balance is still coming down and it looks asthough it will be clothing neutral by the time you have sold yours!
:T
Work? whats that then? oh, you mean the stuff i'm meant to be doing right now? :rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Morning Jellybabies you are doing fab on the e-bay front both on buying and selling...
We all have to use the savings as well at some point and how good is it that you have the money set aside rather than having to put it on a CC...
Hope you have a good day ..x0 -
Good luck with the w*rk thingy! I'm sure it'll be worth using your savings when it gets to the day

eBay seems to be quite healthy at the moment, everything I've listed in the last few weeks has sold - touch wood it continues!!
Ooh and I'm glad I'm not the only one who's pretending I'm not overdrawn!

That indeed is work -
Just viewed my British Gas online as well, they have reduced my gas payment by £31 per month from next after my phone call with them :j and I am still in credit by £80 - heating on then!!!:rotfl:
rs - YAY another "I'm overdrawn but it's not a debt thing" person
I am just so used to being overdrawn that I don't count it, but it has been a 0% overdraft and so will be charged for it next month so it really needs to be dealt with and not ignored. Might be quite a nice feeling to have a positive balance though when I do move it.
Agree re ebay, I remembered listing some things after xmas and got hardly anything, lot better now. Really pleased with the clothes that I am selling as I have sold so many bundles of DS's clothes for hardly anything - got 12 watchers as well
Might just make some toast and tea now, just to help the brain.....Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
Mmm yes positive balance would be nice! Same here, been in it for years, so doesn't really feel like debt - mine is still 0% for now so won't panic until they start charging, will deal with it once other nasty debts are gone.
Hmmph I want toast too
