:rotfl: not a very good handler then, nah just kidding probably just lacking common sense if he's stood on wet grass with a dog that can easily pull him on his bum!! Oh I know well what it's like keeping a fiesty one under control, regardless of age Megan is extremely protective (especially of the children) and she can be a bit of a nightmare. A fully trained (but retired) police dog on your arm when they take a dislike to something/someone can be a bit of a nightmare, adrenalin definately kicks in, but also his dog should be well trained enough to be obedient in backing off when told. Megan doesn't like rowdy crowds of people, she's forever telling the youngesters off who hang about near garages behind the house. I let her of course as I wouldn't like to think they thought I owned a softy for a dog as someone had them break into their garden and mess about in there a few weeks ao, they've been in here before we moved in too.

oh and lasange wins for me every time. In fact I've forgot to get something out for my supper, only had a sausage and eggs sandwich today, might see if there is a hm lasagne portion lurking.
One day I might be more organised...........

I don't know if I could cope living near a football ground, does it get noisey? We have enough bother with cars parking for Sunday football here :rotfl: goodness knows what a stadium would be like.

I can sit on my settee on a match day and think "Oh, that was a bad decision by the referee - and him a banker too judging by their singing" or "Oh someone's scored a goal". I don't mind the chanting and cheers but when the wind's in the wrong direction, the bing-bong and garble-garble-garble of the tannoy system is most irritating.

Parking - well I have my drive (when no-one else has decided to park on it!) and have got used to planning my weekends around home matches.

Oh no soappie, I don't know how you cope. We can hear the Sunday (sometimes Saturday) games here played onthe local fields when we're in the garden or have the window open but not a hope I could cope with that. My partner working nights I have to make sure I close the bedroom window on a Sunday morning when I get out of bed so they don't wake him with the noise. Most irritating bits Monday onwards after the games have been on, Megan litter picking over the field bringing me all the empty bottles they leave behind.....I have to take carrier bags to bring home the rubbish she collects.

Speaking of partners, what an inorant poo bag....he asked me earlier 'what's the red light on the dehumidifier for?' I said it's full and needs emptying, has he done it, no has he knickers grrrrr!!! I suppose I best go do it now. :o get something done off my list while I am there :o

Lil me - thank you for the lasagne suggestion - you've made my mind up for me - that's what we'll have. And as to the noise of the football, as it's league, it only really disturbs on a saturday afternoon or tuesday evening. Sunday mornings are nice and peaceful.

I think I have a helpful little pixie!

Went to load the TD. I unloaded the load I dried yesterday, earlier and remember thinking to myself 'right will have to empty the bottle and the filter before I put the next load on. Will do it in a bit and I can hoover out the filter when i hoover kids room'. OK, so... I never got around to it.

Loaded it up just now, pulled out the bottle, it's EMPTY!!! Pulled out the filter and it's not just empty, but it's been hoovered too!

I didn't do it! I hoovered kids room, hoovered mine and that was it.

I want a pixie :( one that makes lasagne too :( because I can't find any. Looks like chicken korma and rice for me instead. Oh I love cooking extras because then on nights like this when DP is out we can all have something different without it being hard work :D

Dehumidi box empty, laundry on airers, next washer load is on. Have wriggled some things around in the big freezer, got a basic idea of what we have in there, will see if I can fit what is left in the little one in there when my hands defrost, brr! Then it'll be seeking inspiration for a meal plan, see if I can start April off as good as March has been. :D over the moon with my GC budget, ends tomorrow and no intention of spending anything.

Mince now bubbling away. Lil-me - I offer you a virtual portion of lasagne:

Though mine won't look quite like that, it will still be tasty.

Oh god - the dog is howling at the gate again. She's just coming out of season. Earlier this week, she was howling any old time but the last couple of days, if an emergency vehicle siren goes by (like it has been doing with regular monotony since the football finished) it seems to set her off again. She only howls at this particular time of her cycle. Better go and bring her in before the neighbours complain.

    Evening all

    Just popping in briefly.

Hugs to those of you who are not very well.

Vanilla - glad you've got all sorts to help with headache - but you've passed it on to me!

I started off well flying today, did all my dailies then charged round Sainsbury's at a rate of knots. Did all sorts catching up on missed tasks on the list, then started with a migraine so OH sat down and had a rest! I had to take my sledgehammer tablets and put my feet up.

My brother and SIL came round for a coffee and a chat, which was nice, as I usually go round to theirs on a Saturday. He checked all the phone cabling that trails around my house (previous occupants were a bit weird with some of the things they did) and I can get rid of most of it without losing the connection, so I'll be ripping that out before we carry on decorating. That has been put on hold now as OH is back at work (thank goodness - he doesn't want to go out and play, he just wants to sit and watch TV! in the room that needs decorating first) and I'm working all week too. I'm off next week but have friends coming down from Scotland for the week.

Mudbath - thank you for the muffin recipe. I don't think I was the only one who asked for it though! Maybe I'll have a go tomorrow. I think I've got all the ingredients.

Well I think I'll watch Casualty and go to bed, so goodnight all and I'll catch up tomorrow. Hugs to all.
