*JOHANNE AND MUM LOOK AWAY NOW* Thats why I used to enjoy DD going away overnight ;):rotfl::rotfl:

*NOTE TO SELF dont sit on nickis couch or anywhere else in the house on next visit. :p:p

Garg! Not done any flying again today... im such a naughty person! :( Ended up out most the day with OH and then with Mum and Dad. Popped to sainsburys without a list for "just a few bits" ended up coming out with £19 worth of stuff! :o But in my defence i did buy "snacky stuff" for hospital bag which i wouldnt usually do.... and cola and squash which was on offer and will last me months now aswell as some bits to do a "freezer cook up" so got lots of HM readymeals for after baby comes so i dont have to cook! Well thats my excuse and im sticking to it! :rotfl:

Ended up getting chippy for tea though as OH needed to get to work in like 20 mins and didnt have anything quick to cook.... really bad considering we have takeaway pizza last night too :o:o:o Couldnt be bothered cooking at gone 9pm when i needed a shower.. so i ordered the food online from our local takeaway just before i got a shower and just as id got dressed and dried my hair it arrived - perfect timing!! :)

Not done any uni work yet either... oh god im sooooo naughty!! :( I have instead been looking on ebay for stuff ...... may have found all the stuff we need to decorate the nursery (curtains, border, lightshade, cot bumper) all matching for under £25 if all goes my way!! Cant believe it! The cot bumper alone we looked at in mothercare was £29... and the wallpaper border was £8ish! This baby just keeps getting more and more MSE.... and i think is gonna come out with "ebay" logo shaped birthmark on her bum.... as everything seems to have come from there! (even the pregnancy tests i used to find out about her! :rotfl:)

Oh well.. will attempt to finish my list tomorrow *fingers crossed* Least most of the house looks better and more organised than it did this time last week.... :D

Lilme - Thanks for that, I will make sure that it gets a 'second skin', but I think they will have to as its got to match the kitchen iykwim. The garage is an integral one, next to the kitchen. DH spoke to builder today, he knows him so thats a bit better, and I will 'grill' him when he comes round. Also getting a quote off the builders who built the house, they will be too expensive but I can ask them lots of questions about the house that the builder actually needs to know before he starts, to do with metal supports and such like, but luckily I know the builder who built the house so thats a bonus as well.

By the way, Pigpen - I printed off your 'kids' list for my 6 year old and she said ' yeah right, sure whatever' where do they get it from? I have made her do things this week but in her defence the poor little sods have hardly seen daylight this week, what with the bedroom makeover. They can't have everything, they wanted their own bedrooms so they have to suffer the same as me.

Right, I am off to bed now as just realised it's after 11, which may as well be 12 and dh is in the pub so no doubt will wake me up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shouldn't complain but got to paint tomorrow!!!!! Need my sleep.

    Nite nite everyone

Tell me to stop looking at upgrades for my PC!!!!

I only want extra memory because I am SOOOO impatient!

Honestly, it takes no time at all to load up and I can log on to internet but still it's not fast enough for me! And I KNOW extra memory won't make it faster anyway but ! still WANT it! And whats worse is I'm off to PC World with my Mum to help her choose a laptop (I have all ready chosen for her anyway) and a printer (again, all ready picked out).

I should phone DH now and get him to tell me off.

HUH!!! well that's it, I'm buying it for his mates cheek and his cheek at not telling the mate off!

:rotfl: tiamai we got a new one thinking it'd be faster, no difference. Simple fact is the laptop and PC are as fast as my internet connection can do, double the RAM and makes naff all difference. Of coure you can get RAM updates really cheap aswell, I would have considered upping the RAM on the desktop if it was any seconds faster than the laptop but it's not. Bit of a waste of money, at least it was his Mother's money and not mine that was wasted or I'd feel bad. As for PC world, I'd either order online with discounts/cashback etc or look elsewhere, they're really expensive for what you get. This one was bought on a trade account but we till could have got a better one for the money, Dell for example.
One day I might be more organised...........

No it was another site. 1gb DIMM stick for £20. Sad that I know what that is...

I'm not going to get it. I don't need it.

    I wants it!

Will make do with my Mum's new laptop tomorrow. She is going to PC world as she feels better about being able to go back there if anything goes wrong. I know there are cheaper out there but if it makes her happy. :rotfl: who am I to argue. Better than her buying it out her club book!

    I should go to bed.

I should not look at the next sale to see if thsoe boots are on it...

    Morning All

Up early as usual - put chicken in the SC last night so that's already cooked for dinner.

I want to try and mealplan at some point today - DH wants to lose some weight and I've put about 4lb on this week because there was loads of Easter eggs around the place!:EasterBunI now weigh more than when I started losing weight!

I want to do some baking as well so I'm going to find some recipes for things I can put in the kids' lunch boxes - try them out on them before they go back to school on Thursday.

My mate rung yesterday to ask if I'd have her kids one day so she could go into work and she'd have my kids another day but I don't think I can fit it in. Why didn't she ring me last week? Tomorrow I'm planning on taking the kids somewhere on the train, Tuesday DD's having her haircut at 1.45 and Wednesday I've already got another friend's 2 kids. I feel a bit mean saying no but unless I have them on Tuesday which means taking 4 kids to the hairdressers while DD has her hair cut, I can't do it! I could have easily had them one day last week.

DH is on a night out tomorrow again:mad:. Normally he has one night out a week - so far, while the kids have been on Easter hols he's been out the following:

Worked Good Friday when he should have been off but was supposed to be off Tuesday instead.
Off Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday.
Worked Tuesday - boss said they were too busy for him to have the day off:mad: - and on a night out:mad: - so arrived home Wednesday night.
Off to Ireland Thursday so arrived back home yesterday morning.
Now he's on a night out Monday night as well!

Then to top it all he has a hospital appointment on Friday so he's got to have the day off work when me and the kids go back on Thursday!

Sorry, that turned into a bit of a rant didn't it.:o

Anyway, I'll go and think about doing something

    Catch you later

    Hugs to all

    Morning all

Two loads of washing out on the line, sunny at the moment but it doesn't look settled. *watches sky*

    Roast dinner started.

Not doing much else today.....DH is watching MotoGP......boring.

Going to get DD2 to take me to The Works this afternoon so I can get a new crossword book.

Took dog to vet yesterday and she has geriatric canine vestibular syndrome, which is like labyrinthinitus in humans. Caused by the inner ear but for no particular reason. She had a steroid injection as a general booster and she's trying some tablets for senile dogs. If they perk her up she can take them for life. She's got 2 weeks supply, then we have to leave them off for a week to see if there's a difference. She's only fallen over once this morning so that's not too bad.

The sad thing about the tablets was him saying that she would only need them for a year or eighteen months......but she promised she would live forever! :(

Right, doesn't look like I've done much BUT I've folded all DD's bedding up and put it away or in the wash, put dry washing away, emptied maidens, 1 large batch of dishes, sorted washing out and put a load in, and breakfast for us both. All forums etc are now up-to-date and I'm about to go and put washing out (and another load in the machine) before going and tackling the holes in DD's bedroom :D Right, I want to be done by 5pm so I can have a bath to get rid of the paint which I'm going to be slapping on DD's cupboard and possibly room today but we shall see....
