Justamum, I have a network camera (bit like a CCTV) called Buster which some flyladies can access and watch the images from it over the internet - they keep an eye out on my drive for me - I'm trying to catch the perp who's parking on my drive when I'm not thereI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

How do I join? Or is it special invitation only?- I'm trying to catch the perp who's parking on my drive when I'm not there
Bloomin' cheek of some people! A stinger laid across the driveway after you leave would soon stop them. Just remember to remove it before you drive up your driveway. :rotfl:0 -
Done very little flying this week. I've changed the beds and put washing on etc, but that's about it. I find it's more difficult when DH is off work. He always wants us to go out somewhere. Last Thursday we were going to take the children to the north of the island as we needed something from a shop up there, and there's a good park for the children to play in. When I said I didn't want to go he said he wouldn't bother either, which annoyed me. I'm desperate for a few hours alone, so it would have been really good if he could have taken them off my hands for a while. Needless to say I ended up going, but I've made him promise to take them out one day next week all day. It will probably end up being only about an hour though :rolleyes:0

And it seems there is trouble - but, fortunately not in my back yard, or in the immediate vicinity - but down the road.
I was sad enough to take some pictures. The crowd were fine as they walking past the thin blue line with high vis jackets, but once they got round the corner, something must have kicked off because first the mounted police started galloping away:
Then the dog handler's dog started to get vocal
Then a bunch of our finest started running after the horses
Then the wagons start bluelighting it the wrong way up the one way street.
The police helicopter arrived shortly after that and is still making a noise in the distance. I'm surprised it's able to fly in this wind and rain!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

DH is the same! Moans to 'go out and play', but 'needs me to go too'.
I send him down to see his Mum with the kids when I can. I don't get on with his Mum and I can do all the housework in an hour with no kids or husband and knowing I can lounge about reading or watching what I want on telly.
Been fed *burp* hoovered and cleaned kids room. Just got to load the TD and do the dinner dishes then do the 'after kids go to bed clean up in teh living room' and that's me for the night. Which is good cos I feel like carp. I now have the kids cold/sorethroat/earache.0 -

Logins to Buster are full at the moment, but if I find a spare one, I'll pm you. And I thought about the stinger, but then I'd probably forget to remove it when I came home, or my daughter would turn up and park on the drive not realising it's there!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Made a start on my list, decided to do some serious reorganising because I am sick of just moving things from one place to another. Reorganising mainly the tops of cupboards and FF so I can put gadgets on there. See it'd help if I didn't have so many gadgets
but because I do I need space for them. Most of that was successful. I reorganised my 'laundry box' which sits on the washer with my powders, lotions and potions in, well urgh, that'll teach me for only using parts of free samples as one had leaked everywhere. Anyway dug that box out and completely reorganised it all. Looks ever so tidy now
Kitchens had some reorganising, mainly on the tops and shleves, kicking out things like the natwest piggies which really shouldn't be on the cereals shelf, kids money boxes, parts for DPs cars, kids toys, paper work etc etc which just seem to end up in the kitchen. I know why, that's because noone else tidies up in there but me so they dump what they don't want to put away in there. Well it's all in their spaces now.
Our new bags for plastic, cardboard and paper recycling arrived, saying arrived they left them at the bottom of everyones drive so they ended up all over the street. It's huge and mine is full already :rotfl: sure it'll go down with some squishing. Collections are once a fortnight, hoping I won't need to ask for an additional bag. It says to put it outside 'if necessary they are waterproof' well I am thinking if it rains when it's put out I won't want it back in the house?
Soappie, that's one pretty police dog, loads of dark colouring lke our Meganactually come to think of it lots of her pups of her's are force dogs, so you never know
Horses are cool too, don't think the Durham force has any anymore
I don't know if I could cope living near a football ground, does it get noisey? We have enough bother with cars parking for Sunday football here :rotfl: goodness knows what a stadium would be like.
tiamai and Justamum my partner is exactly the same, I think he's taken the boys out once on his own this year which was a shock. I get the 'But they are difficult when you are on your own with them' ha tell me about it, I do it all the time!
My missions left for today (DP is away until tomorrow night so just me and the boys who are not feeling very helpful and putting snotty tissues everywhere)
[strike]
Hang washer load that has just finished on airers
Empty tumble drier
Seek out any more laundry for load that is waiting & start [/strike]
Put bagged doggy things in bin (if the rain stops, if not will do tomorrow) tomorrow it is
Clean cupboard door fronts in kitchen
[strike] Empty DW when finished
Put hob back together after cleaning it down

Dismantle actifry and put parts in DW
Reorganise fridge (bit of a mess)
[STRIKE]Reorganise big freezer [/STRIKE]- see if I can get little freezer contents in so can defrost it before refilling it while big one is getting fixed
Meal plan based on my findings when reorganising
Clean table thing in utility
Sort through 'food storage' boxes in utility (used for when I can't fit what I have bought in the cupboards)
Clean fridge freezer front and sides, yuk
Clean chairs and legs of chairs in utility

I have covered ALL the walls in DD's room with the primer :rotfl: So in theory it should just be a case of a coat of white paint, and then on with the magnolia
BUT her room stinks even though the window is wide open and the walls are tacky so she's sleeping in my bed tonight  So not only do I loose an hours sleep with the clocks changing, I'll also have a small child wriggling or snoring  Going to send her up to bed after You've been framed

Soappie, that's one pretty police dog, loads of dark colouring lke our Megan
It was quite a feisty dog as well as pretty, it seemed to up for business and took a dislike some people as they walked past. The handler seemed to have trouble restraining it at one point when it lunged towards someone - he almost lost his footing on the wet grass before reigning it back in again.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Well done on your decorating Nicki - I hope you manage to sleep with the little one wriggling and snoring beside you. So, what have I done of today's challenges that I set myself earlier?
- [STRIKE]Fry up breakfast
[/STRIKE] Lovely it was - bacon, egg beans and home made bread
- [STRIKE]11am Hairdresser - comes to my house
[/STRIKE] Shame I immediately went out in the rain and ruining the carefully coiffeured look but at least it's tidy again
- [STRIKE]Sort out bureau - I have not sorted this out for positively years. There's junk and all sorts in there which can either be ebayed or binned[/STRIKE] Done. Though half the stuff is now on the kitchen table and needs to be sorted into ebay piles. The rest has gone in the recycle bin or the general bin. There's so much space in there now! I shall have to find some stuff to fill it up again with - NOOOO Soappie - step away from that thought...
- [STRIKE]BM[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Decide on something for dinner and ferret around in the freezer for it.[/STRIKE] I've defrosted some mince - just need to decide if it's spag bol, lasagne or shepherds pie! Almost which I'd taken some stewing beef out now - the weather is so miserable here this evening, it calls for comfort stew!
- [STRIKE]WM x 2[/STRIKE]
- Ironing
I have failed on this.
