Chasingbutterfies-you have a VERY good memory. Yes the car is lovely, but the kids have asked if they can have the old one back because they want to be able to have sweets in the car.....I bought fish and chips home last night, and I drove with the windows open; because it might make the car smell !!!!

Here is my list for tommorrow, I can't find yesterdays to update (there has been so much chatting on here today)
Nothing much achieved though, but I did manage to unbolt the cover on the radiator (Kitchen) and gave it a really good clean.
Going to take a black bin bag upstairs, and clear out a couple of drawers in my bedroom, while I watch Desperate Housewives. Nighty night.

I can see I'm going to be catching up at the weekend but I'm also off on Friday, so maybe it won't be too bad.
Work has been manic. We have till Monday to meet our profile of 90 signups and were struggling to get any more, but with emails flying back and forth to Head Office late last night, I got one fo my colleagues busy making calls today while I was out training. She's come up trumps and I'm going to be busy on Monday with three others doing the remaining sign ups. Our line manager will be thrilled, as she's gone away on leave not knowing what was going to happen and between us, we've done it.:T
Oh well, I'm off to bed now, so goodnight all and sleep well. Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one!DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

I am in a dither about the playroom - everyone is at school tomorrow - so I have most of the day *but* the kids are staying at dads for an extra 2 days next week and I had earmarked that time for playroom/upstairs bathroom/finish the garage type jobs... because I can think of nothing else I would rather do with some free time
So my question for those who have fought the battle and won... Short bursts or long slog?
I did a long slog, taken me a week to do every room in the house, kitchen cupboards are de cluttered but I still have wardrobes and drawers to do but that can wait until after my holiday. The week long slog has paid off for me, short bursts seem ok but it would have taken me a lifetime that way lolProud to be dealing with my debts Sealed pot challenge 180 £2 coins £184 2008 £1 a day challenge£100+ Nectar 4809/Boots 1724 Focus for 2008 Clear £1777.00 CC, [strike]£1000 [/strike]overdraft Holiday [strike]£525[/strike]:j CC recovery£976 NO SMOKING WK7 £2100 -

Quick hi from me, I'm working a day behind on account of being a lazy trout so livingroom was done this evening while I was high on adrenalin from work. It's taken a good hour to catch up with the posts for today, you've all been chatty and busy and I loved the before and after pics. Looking forward to some more! I almost wish I had a room like those to get stuck into, I'm right in the mood. Could be spring fever approaching, I'm thinking about which of my rooms I'm going to start decorating this year, or I might finish the ones I started last year..
Kind of a half serious question coming up 'cos I know you lot know 'Stuff' and your combined advice is always helpful/funny.. I need to learn how to 'chill' -almost ashamed to admit but I'm a proper control freak, verging on OCD and worse when I'm stressed and it's getting me down and getting in the way of life. Anybody know what I mean?

hello all
not had time to read the thread - you lot are very chatty...but thought you'd appreciate my comedy first online shop experience... over ordered rather significantly i fear! DH told me to put my feet up as i'd had a long day and he'd put the shopping away, so i did, worrying a little that he'd put it all in the wrong places. anyway, i went into the kitchen, saw stuff all over the worktops and thought he'd not bothered to do it...turned out that was just the stuff that wouldn't fit in the cupboards! so no shopping for us for a while then!!
hope everyone is well and didn't get too wet today!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
