Evening all. Well I naffed up, school nurse is coming out tomorrow :o doh! I was ready to phone and ask why she was late then realised :rotfl: ooops. Means a bit less of a dash about tomorrow tidying however :D The kitchen needs more of my attention tomorrow as I decided to rearrange more cupboards tonight and now I can't be bothered to finish it :p.

DP has got on my nerves for most of the afternoon/evening since he got home, now he's asleep >>>>>> suprised you can't all hear him snoring like a pig, so figuring maybe was just tiredness.

Made a stirfry tonight for tea which wasn't great but edible (he twisted his face as usual) have made choc cheesecake for desert (not good for diet but fancied it!!!) so that's setting in the fridge. Need to go do a WM/TD/airer shuffle around while it sets.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

My OH has been like that today, just really grumpy and so pedantic about everything. Must be cos he was tired but he's gone back to work now and tomorrow I shall be out with my daddy all day so wont have to put up with Lord Grumpy.

I'm going to see if I can do some before and after pics of what I have done today :rotfl:
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    The loving room is spotless!

I have an interview date for college!!!! May 2nd. I can't wait!!! :j

DS2 has a strange finger so I have to phone the OT. From the side it looks S shaped. It bends back from the middle knuckle and it's just wrong. It's his Hemi side so it could be the way he holds the hand. Did I mention it's gross?

Now to read the thread and get the gossip!

Evening all! Haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread yet - been manic today and this evening, although I left work on time for once - first time in months! My list today looks like this:

Master bedroom & landing - Wednesday
    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
[STRIKE] Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers[/STRIKE].
    Level 2
[STRIKE] Dust surfaces[/STRIKE] & make sure no cobwebs..
    Vacuum & turn mattress before
    [STRIKE]replacing with fresh linen[/STRIKE]..
    [STRIKE] Air the duvet
15 minutes floordrobe clearance[/STRIKE] Nothing out of place since I did it last week:j
    Level 3
[STRIKE] Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of..
[STRIKE] Clear a hotspot.[/STRIKE]. or spend 15 minutes clearing one. Hangers get left on the chest of drawers all week - went straight in the wardrobe!
Clean windows in these rooms - too dark to see
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • 39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    • Clear the inside of a bedside cupboard/chest of drawers or shelf
I've also got paid today, and sorted out all my bills etc for the month. Tea is warming up now and then going to watch the apprentice.

  • ok I have clearance to return to the garage... but it is cold and wet... I need some socks and snuggly trainers first and a shot of motivation!

I am in a dither about the playroom - everyone is at school tomorrow - so I have most of the day *but* the kids are staying at dads for an extra 2 days next week and I had earmarked that time for playroom/upstairs bathroom/finish the garage type jobs... because I can think of nothing else I would rather do with some free time

So my question for those who have fought the battle and won... Short bursts or long slog?
