That's todays updated list.. and now I have to decide whether to say sod the lot and go to bed.. whether to text my mother 'tennish then?' or whether to gut and fillet the front room..... It is freezing, and raining and tomorrow we have a fireplace to rip out so there will be soot and dust and more soot from here to Timbuktu.. so .. bed is the better option I think!

Woke up in the night with a headache, had it all day, still there now...not much improved by a challenging group of children last lesson. And my two boys winding each other up this evening.

So, I'm just popping in for a quick catch up and post. I haven't done much flying today.

I have washed the main bedroom bedlinen, no floordrobe to clear, now that I have a proper real wardrobe for the first time in years. OH hasn't put his stuff away, will be hinting gently about that... I have cooked, washed up, and done clothes washing, and baked a chocolate cake. I still have more washing up to do, and may ice the cake before collapsing in front of the tv. Just checked my online work diary, and I'm booked for another week at the nice school - great!

    hollyh - hugs, and condolences.

tia - good news about the interview!

    michelle - enjoy your trip!

nikki - your DD is obviously destined for a great future in MS interior design!

dusty - I'm sorry, but I haven't yet had time to look around for prices on the list in your pm. I'll try to get to it over the weekend. The seeds sound much more reasonable than the plants and sundries that she sells though, especially with the discount.

ok then, plan for rest of night:
    • [STRIKE]bath DS[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]bedtime routine, while i watch home and away[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]make omlette and garlic baguette for tea[/STRIKE]
    • evening wash up and sort DH will do in a bit
    • [STRIKE]spend some time grooming eeach cat, and do the flea[/STRIKE]/worming treatments
    • [STRIKE]hang washing up[/STRIKE]
    • perhaps get another load in, and hung up so all airers are full, then i can tackle ironing and packing tomorrow. next load sorted at least and ready to go in the morning.
so not too bad - can't believe how shattered i feel from doing what feels like so little. Just made DH carry the washing upstairs for me, and having a herbal tea to warm up before i watch desperate housewifes. I may even read some of my book when i catch up here.

I was thinking earlier, it must be spring, there are so many of us talking about decorating. we should definitely share photos of the finished articles -we will basically have 2 new bedrooms and half a new bathroom. Hopefully all finished by early april too, but dependent on other people i am afraid.
