    Afternoon ladies

Johanne, what part of Liverpool are you in? My BF lives in Huyton and I'm coming down next week. Still having a bit of a fight with Virgin trains about my journey  I'm coming down for Ladies Day. Yay

I will crack on with the kitchen but I cant be bothered moving at the moment. We went out for a huge walk earlier, must have been 3 or 4 miles and I'm now shattered. However at least my HHE is well done ;)

AnWsMum - my aunt brought my daffodils yesterday so the house looks very Springlike. They are still not out where I stay. Its like the flipping twilight zone here :rotfl:

Right, time to check off where we are. It's snowing here again and freezing. I have just got back from shopping, so i should be able to cross some things off, and the CCs are well and truly hammered.

plan for the rest of the day:
    • [strike]choose curtain pole and some new curtains[/strike] also got blackout linings and some bedding for DS
    • move our bed and all our other stuff back into our old room so wardrobe guy can fit the wardrobes tomorrow and wednesday
    • file the pile of paperwork in front of the telly
    • have more of a living room sort out, as tiscali engineer is coming tomorrow to do the TV package thing so will need access
    • sort pantry - as above
    • [strike]put up curtain pole and curtains in newly decorated room - or newspaper, so we can sleep in there tonight and tomorrow, and probably the next couple of weeks  as it will take that long probably for bed to be put back in there.[/strike]
    • will try and do the kitchen sort out tonight too, and find where my tea towels are as there are 3 dirty, one in use, and the rest are missing  hopefully still in the TD
    extras:
    • picked and ordered a carpet and underlay for DS new bedroom
    • trip to BOOTS - got nappies and wipes for new baby, some wipes for DS, some new toothbrushes and some more olay moisturiser for me. All paid for with points accumulated at xmas
    • paid final BT bill, looked at internet banking, wrote checks for nursery for next few weeks
    • posted rental DVD back
so not a lot of our actual list, which is the scary bit, but lots achieved yet again. We are just having one of them days where you say ' while we are... we should also do .....'

just having a cuppa to warm up again - sounds like DH is putting up the new curtain rail, and DS is watching barney. I best put some pasta on soon for him to have with the bol sauce, .....once i've caught up here. ;)

We've had a mixture of sunshine and snow showers today but DD and I managed to dodge them when we went out to post her party invites through ther friends doors and then went into town to get stuff for the sleepover party bags. Managed to post one through the wrong house, the ladys just rung and said theres noone by that name here. So what the f... was she on when I asked her earlier if it was Shannons house and she said Yes, I thought it must be her granny

Sleepover bags should be fun so far they each have
    facecloth
    toothbrush
    hairbrush
    deodorant
sox (drew the line at knickers)
    torch
    notepad
    light up pen
    candy floss
    party poppers
    earings
    false nails
and whatever else I can find plus food for a midnight feast.

Think all the mattresses will fit on her floor - need to check how many spare I have (makes mental note 1 double for neices, DD in her bed, 1 Single, single from spare room so need 2 inflatables and I think I have 3) and check how many pillows and quilts spare as have had a flinging session of pillows recently.

Got to think of some games n stuff now, and still have the dining room to do.

But first what are we going to have for tea

catlover1 - be positive, you at least did something and you wont be coming down to dirty dishes in the morning. Small steps remember.
I do not let myself switch the computer on in the morning (or the tv or get sidetracked by the garden) till I have done at least half an hour - you know DW sorted, WM and TD on, children dressed - otherwise it is to easy to lose half a day on here. Anything else that gets done is a bonus. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Hex2,

right I'm off to clean ( first I have to clear it) the top surfaces, may also try and sweep the floor and mop it.

Maybe if I break the list down into small more manageable chunks it might be easier

    xx
