chilli, spag bol. Basically, leftovers!
another interesting thing could be roasted veg, which you could store in the lfask then put in a pitta with some mayo ( nick them from macdonaldsstore them in your work drawer! )

My son used to take those packets of pasta in cheese sauce to college, but by lunchtime they were really soggy and stuck together. I never did try putting them in heated but uncooked but I suspect this may have worked better.
He also took tinned beans with sausages and ravioli, not very exciting but its surprising how good they taste if you are really hungry!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I've tried it with curry and rice before, it smelt delicious but the rice was so overcooked I couldn't eat it, I've meant to try it with undercooked rice but haven't gotten around to it. It's been a while but I vaguely remember that the curry did stain the flast but after cleaning the smell went0

Don't know how much prep time you have before leaving home, but we often take for days out Sainsbury's hot dog style veggie sausages. Found in the freezer section, they are £1.99 for 10. They just have to be heated in very hot (almost boiling) water in a saucepan for about 5 mins, then put in your food flask. You could take buttered bread rolls separately, and even keep a small bottle of tommy sauce in your desk drawer!
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I used to have soup or scotch broth in a flask at school. But chilli or curry with wraps or bread or pasta would work too.
Or how about some roast veg and take some couscous in a tub to add boiling water and a stock cube to when it's time to eat?May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

Yeah, I noticed that the noodles and veg seemed to just carry on cooking - making them a bit squishy.BCSC Member 70:j

My 8 year old has decided he would like to use a wide-neck flask to take hot lunch to school.
Apart from the obvious soup what else could he take?xxx Nikki xxx0
