Can your dh be trusted not to break a glass one? (depending on work circumstances). We have several stainless steel flasks that are pretty good - but I have 2 big glass lined ones for Cub camps and they keep things scalding hot.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Hmmm he is a plumber and gas engineer so I think a glass one would bite the dust on the first day:rotfl:0

I bought a Stanley food flask when they were in Aldi last year. When I got home I read the reviews for it and a lot of them said they didn't keep the food warm enough for long enough, so I returned it. I now have a Thermos food flask that I got from Asda for £12ish, it works quite well.0

I have a Stanley food flask and it's a waste of space. I have tried every way possible to heat it to keep food hot, but it just doesnt work. Even if I only leave it 2 hours. Think it will be next to go when I declutter.0

Hi Claire
How about a stew or ghoulash your OH could bring a pitta bread to toast and have along with it. Alternatively curry as long as his workmates don't complain about the smell.0 -
what about a nice pasta - eg twirls or little shells ( easier to eat than taghliatelle
in a spicy tomato & chorizo sauce? or a creamy mushroom & chicken sauce ( made with rubber chicken naturally:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
You can put hot dog (frankferter type ones) sausages in a thermos flask in the brine stuff and they will keep hot- not the healthiest admittedly but may offer a change!0
