Good morning everyone
Kids were up at 7 this morning running around the house finding all the eggs that the easter bunny left!!! We were supposed to be up to the allotment this morning to finish digging it over (we have done two thirds of it now) but it has been pouring down overnight so no point in going today so probably wont get back to it til thursday so instead we are having a pj day today.
We have roast lamb for lunch - really looking forward to that. Caught up with all the washing and ironing yesterday and DH wants to watch the footie later.
Hugs to anyone who wants or needs one especially smokey.
Have a great easter.:icotbaske :EasterBun :easter_ba :easter: :icotbaske :easter_os

Morning :hello::easter: :icotbaske :easter_os :easter_ba :EasterBun
Smoky. Take it easy pet.
Churchie. I know DS3 is flying the coop today but it is a lovely coop and he will return often.:A And on the bright side at least you'll have another bedroom to shove the ironing in.
Please remember that although it's Easter Sunday, try not to over indulge on the communion wine.
Pooky. That's great news about the money. :money:
Pink. Where on earth do your children get their religous conviction and self control from? Ah yes. That would be from me.
Mrs Mix...Definitely get some help if you can.
Well the Easter Bunny didn't set to work until 1.30 am and went to bed at 3 am.
Imagine my joy when the twins woke me at 6.30. The air turned blue for a minute and they were bribed into going back to bed with some chocolate.
Have now done the Easter hunt and I'm coffeed up and ready to face the day with my MIL.
She has very odd ideas about food and doesn't believe we should eat chocolate so bought me a carbon monoxide detector for Easter.
Need to assemble the fish pie in a minute and tidy up the kitchen. BM is on and that's all so far.
Enjoy your Easter everyone.

Hello everyone, Happy Easter :easter: :EasterBun
Hope everyone is well, hugs to all those who are poorly or just need a hug.
((smoky and children)) - please don't worry about what the children are eating, I think you are doing fantastically well, and you are in our thoughts.
Woke up to a really thick blanket of snow this morning. Both the cats were out overnight, haven't seen the female one yet, but the male came back looking distinctly disgruntled. He's took himself off to our bed now, so I think that's the last we'll see of him for the rest of the day.:D
Hubby has had to go to work, the boys are still in bed, so it's just me and the snow for the time being. Got to tidy the house a bit later as MIL is coming round for a meal this evening. Nothing fancy, probably shepherds pie or lasagne. Something involving mince anyway as that's about all I've got in:D
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Happy Easter everyone:EasterBun
:grouphug: for Smokey and family. You are doing fine, just worrying about what the children are eating is enough for now.
Tru :rotfl: my DS was in fits with that!
Hugs to those in need, Benthosboy - get a hot water bottle and hug it for dear life, it will be a true comfort to you - I wouldn't be without mine!
Not much going on here, got up early yesterday and today to watch F1, so will be having as quiet a day as DS will let me! Still not able to drive or walk far so won't be going anywhere. Roast chicken for dinner (DS doesn't do big lunches
)
Right off for a shower and get dressed.
Will pop back later.

Haribo - that's the funniest thing I've read in a long while. At least it doesn't contain any calories;)HariboJunkie wrote: »Have now done the Easter hunt and I'm coffeed up and ready to face the day with my MIL.

morning and happy Easter to all, I was hoping to have a lie in this morning but DH set the alarm for 5.45 to watch F1. Once I was awake my brain deceided to remind me of all the things that need doing so I couldn't get back to sleep. At least I have been able to get all the veg ready, made DH fav pud spotted !!!!!!, loaded the car with cardboard, bottles etc to take to recycle and ironed 4 shirts so I am feeling rarther smug!
Pooky, I would put the money in a savings account get interest then pay the
bills when they are due. Why let the Council make interest on your money, your safe in the knowledge that the money is there for when you need it. ps. What's an HB claim?
Special Hi to pink.
Smokie you LO's are doing what nearly everyother child is doing this week-end, eating chocolate. Don't be hard on yourself, there are no set ways on how to cope in your situation. love and hugs to you and yours. :A0 -
:coffee: :hello: Morning all:hello:............. :grouphug: if you need one :grouphug: ......
Smokey.......What ever keeps you going is fine.......what your chidlren will need at this time is the knowledge that you are there for them......if you are still having problems sleeping, please go and see the Doctor, a few sleeping pills just to re-establish your sleeping pattern will not hurt...........you and your family are always in my thoughts as I go around my daily life..........
Right I have got over my strop from last night, have found another stand in South Yorkshire, which is not too far to go and collect it if I win it.......so keeping my fingers crossed again.............
We had a slight fall of snow over night and its b**** cold, but as we have no intention of going out........it doesn't really matter. Rain later but sun tomorrow, so we are told.
Roast chicken for supper, I found some pigs in blankets left over from when I cooked the Christmas lunch so going to do some of them. I bought a cauli from the market last week, they are french....and boy can you tell, lovely close head and it actually tastes of something.........I bring one back when we go to France, they seem to last much longer than the ones we buy here...................cannot make up my mind what to do for dessert, I fancy chocolate pudding, but I haven't got a mars bar for the sauce........oh well might have to have butter sauce with it instead.
Nothing planned, I have the linings of two bags to sew, where I turn them through, might do that, possibly mark up a couple more cushions.............nowt much on TV, god job I've got some books.
Right off for a:coffee: see y'all later.Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

It's not funny when you have to put up with her. I'm doing fish pie and she will quiz me about everything that goes into it and she will have apoplexy when she sees how much chocolate the girls have got. I think even the sight of the banoffee pie will send her into full blown cardiac arrest.
Aussie. Your pics are lovely. Travis is getting so big and handsome. Just like Aussielad.

Morning Guys!
Happy Easter!!
Its snowing here but not settling ATM...its flippin cold though. Having a slow start as my joints have seized up.
OH & DD have gone to church and will be back soon. OH put the fire on early so it would be nice and toasty for me. I didnt wake up till 8.30 which is rare for me.
Have an awful smell in the laundry room..smells like a wet sock or something has been dropped, so will see if OH can take a look when he comes back. Have a load to put on but not much energy ATM to do so, so that can go on in a while. DW will go on soon too.
Smokey-Hugs to you all.
Take care everyone.
