    Happy Easter Everyone

DD was up at 7ish and is over the moon with her chocolate eggs. I'm watching the grand prix and plotting the rest of the day.

We are going to mass later followed by in-laws for lunch. Hopefully we will be back at a reasonable time to get some stuff sorted out. I also need to have another go at knitting later, yesterdays offering wasnt great tbh although I did manage to purl which is a first for me.

    Have a good day everyone

    As long as that's all that's frozen.........:rotfl:

As I'm im mid-divorce atm, my Dad's words come back to haunt me: "when the job's finished, put the tools away".

I'm now not sure if I should laugh or cry.

    Good morning everyone,

We have a busy day today taking people their chcocolate that the Easter bunny has left here for them.

Smoky, don't worry too much about what the children are eating. I lived on mince pies for two weeks when my mum died (it was Christmas) because I just couldn't face anything else. They will catch up on proper food when you feel more up to it. ((Hugs)) to you all.

It snowed here yesterday, but didn't settle. I have to admit I'm not keen on snow.

Martyn, you need a hot water bottle. When everything else goes pear shaped, your hot water bottle will still love you.

    Take care all of you,

Good morning and Happy Easter everybody! :easter:

Pink - like you, I'm impressed by your DS's enthusiasm going to the early morning service! I had good intentions in that area myself - a church in a neighbouring suburb has a 6am service for Easter Morning, which I thought it would have been nice to go to, but I gave up on that idea a few hours ago when I was still posting on OS at midnight with a glass (or four) of wine in my hand :o

Anyway, I am singing at two church services today as it is, one at my church and the other at another church where I occasionally go along to boost their choir for choral evensong.

In fact I need to be off in forty minutes - no snow here, thankfully - so must go and get myself a large cup of tea and some toast and marmalade.

    Love Rzl xx

You should definitely laugh.... much better for you :) Did your dad also tell you to keep the tools handy in case they were needed for another job one day?! After all, isn't being OS all about that sort of thing (reusing/recycling!)

Oh dear.... i can see too much time on internet dating sites has had a terrible influence on me..... i must revert to "little house on the prairie" baking again today.....

Ah. Now it's snowing. Big white fluffy flakes. Better be off to church now, as we all know that the moment a single snowflake settles on the ground, the buses go completely up the spout

    Good morning everyone

Happy Easter to one and all.

Smoky - love and hugs to you and the children. The last thing you need to think about just now is their diet. They will be quite OK and at the moment they will need you, not home cooked meals! Please take care.

Off to Fife to see the family - pork cooked in my SC overnight to take with us. DS back to Ireland late afternoon. Hope to strim edges of grass before we go as it appears to be a lovely (but somewhat cold) morning here.

    Enjoy your day.
