will pop round mum's later too.

I posted on yesterdays thread, but in case you miss it Smoky. the flowers and the music sound lovely. dont worry about the kids eating junk, they'll love it!! kids dont notice stuff like that anyway. special hugs for them, poor wee things.

  • :easter: to everyone. I'm soooo jealous of those who have snow!

I haven't brought any Eggs for the first time in, well, ever I think..... Have a few bags of mini-eggs -but my DD's wanted "things" instead; one chose a book when we were in Tesco the other day, can't remember what oldest DD wanted but it was about a fiver's worth, so I will give youngest £5 this morning & they can have a bag of mini-eggs each.

:grouphug: Smokey - have a dodgy hug from me as well. You are doing so well - I remember after my dad died very unexpectedly 6 years ago, the one thing I wanted was for people to acknowledge it was a tough time, but then to have "normal" conversation around everyday things, to give me something else to focus on. It was a very surreal time - when helping mum organise the funeral it felt like acting a part in a play.... And I echo completely what the others have said, the kids' diet & so on really doesn't matter at the moment....

Roast lamb to cook for the family today, mum & little sis & 3 year old niece coming as well, so that will be good.

Have a good day everyone, keep wrapped up warm if you're out in the snow, lol!

    Happy Easter everyone!
Not been on for a few days as i have been away to in-laws on east coast, got back yesterday teatime to a blizzard!!! On the coast it was non stop rain and hail and high winds, so the kids were very excited to see snow!!
Its clear at the minute but sky looks full of more snow, which i kind of hope it does as plan on going on a winters walk later to walk off a huge dinner.

    Hugs to Smokeybabe,(((((())))))

Right off to make sure dd doesnt eat any more chocolate for a while, shes had loads already!!!! Boys arent up yet but im sure they will play catch up!!

    Have a lovely day

    Morning all.

Thoughts and hugs, (dodgy or otherwise :o ), for anyone in need, esp Smoky.

I'm starting the day as tired as ever. It was darned cold when I went to bed last night and, halfwit that I am, I forgot to leave the heater on in the motorhome..The end result being that I chased myself all over the bed in a vain attempt to keep warm and failed miserably :D

No Easter Bunny for me, sadly, so I've bought myself 2 packets of chocolate mini eggs which I shall consume tonight and if it makes me sick, so what?

Have as good a day as possible and take care.

  • Morning all,

been busy this morning after my lazy day yesterday.:o
Kitchen cleaned, first wash load out and second on the go. Supposed to be going swimming with the boys and visiting GGranny in her nursing home today but wondering what the weather is like in surrey. Down here it is just defrosting from quite a hard frost.

BM just about to go on.

Haribo, glad you liked the hot cross buns. Still can't remember who posted it but thanks anyway to whoever did.
Smokey, don't worry the kids will be ok. :grouphug:
 to everyone and Happy Easter.
