  • Noticed this in Wigan yesterday that Little me is on 3 4 2 again. Has anybody tried the gift sets out again?

Quick question....for the boots folks in the know. Bought something with the free boots £5 voucher just over a week ago. It was an little extra present for someone. Turns out they've just bought themselves the very same thing. Can I go back into the store 2 weeks after the original purchase date and exchange it etc....?

Hi, I tried this following the electrical voucher offer, but I was told that I would only be refunded what I had actually paid for the item (ie less the value of the voucher). I think that they gave an option to exchange to the whole value though. I ended up just keeping the item rather than argue about it.

The £5 voucher was able to be used for any purchase though, wasn't it? In which case they may issue you with a £5 gift voucher if you ask for a refund?

    Hope you get it resolved!

Thanks for the info....very useful. I didn't actually pay anything, but all I really want is either an exchange, a £5 gift voucher, or £5 of points.

  • Hi - I've returned things to boots which I bought with a voucher no problem - they will only exchange though - will not give you a refund !

wouldn't they just be 3 for 2? it was the combination of 3 for 2 and half price offers that made them free last time. shame, lol!

Pretty sure I recently saw some reduced ones in our boots, I may give them a try next time I am in.

I got an advantage card voucher today for 200 points off "Cuticura bath" - (these items were mostly about £4.99) but I tried it and it worked on a purchase of "Cuticura anti-bacterial hand hygiene gel" which cost £1.23? - so a profit of 77p and a nice, handy gell cleaner for your hands when you can't get to wash them with soap & water!

Hope someone finds this useful info....
  • Hi fellow savers, I was in Boots yesterday and checked the advantage card machine and noticed a new voucher worth 100 points if you buy ANY hair product ie. shampoo, conditioner or setting product. I bought their own brand shampoo at £1.29 and got the points no problem. I noticed however, that there were cheaper brands @ 60p but don't know yet if it would work with that. I also bought Tresemme shampoo which is normally £2.99 and was on a BOGOF so got 2 bottles and used the voucher so the 2 only cost in real terms £2 good buy.
The other voucher for the evening primrose oil bath products was still on so I couldn't resist more shower gel and hand wash.
I just arrived in Boots when they started reducing all the Belgian chocolates so the big boxes @ £10.50 were reduced to £7.67, the other boxes were reduced also. HAPPY SHOPPING:santa2:

    Hi
This voucher works for the basics shampoo and conditioner too! They are priced around 30p so well worth it
