  • I bought the Vodafone Sagem VS1 payg mobile phone today. It is the one that Vodafone calls Vodafone Simply and is promoted for older people who find mobiles complicated. This phone is normally £79.99 and there is a leaflet instore that says you get 1000 extra advantage points. However the phone is now reduced to £49.99 and when I checked my receipt there were 1500 points added instead of 1000. I also got a voucher from the machine for 450 points if you spend over £40. So phone cost £49.99 and I received 1950 points.

I have just noticed that I did not receive points for my original spend of £49.99 which should have been another 199 points I think. I will have to phone them tomorrow to check. Wish I had taken my double points voucher with me now.

  • Bought the first aid pack today at the Manchester Fort store (placed near the front tills) in a green plastic case.

I also bought the three N07 gift sets and took three N07 gift bags to the till and tried to put them through in order of a gift set and then the gift bag but the assistant refused and asked for all sets to be put together but strangely the offer still went through and although she scanned other items after the No7 gift sets I still got all three bags free!!!

I got a voucher for 100 points when you Boots Oil of Evening Primrose skincare. Excludes sachets and soap. I tried to put 4 bath creams through together, to use my last remaining £5 voucher, but it would only give 100 points. I got the cashier to void the transaction, added some different bath creams to 1 oil of evening primrose, and then bought the remaining 3 separately, @ £1.49 each, with 100 points.
