Today, Boots have sent me a missing goods declaration form, which I have to return with a copy of 2 documents with my signature on. ie. passport and driving license. Anybody else had this..... and why do they need this? I was made to feel really guilty yesterday....and feel even worse today!
I had a zen micro mp3 player missing from my order - i rung cs as soon as i realised & was told it was on the van & would be delivered within 48 hrs .
Yesterday i was told they would contact the van & ring back.
I rang this morning when i didnt get a reply & they had the cheak to say the parcel had been signed for on the 30/8 - i did sign for a parcel but it was incomplete
they are checking with the driver & will get back to me within 24 hrs!

I thought Apple were now doing the 4th generation ones, Boots label it as 'New' on the website, so you expect it to be latest technology.
It may be that I'm wrong here and it may just be something to do with the fact it is a Photo one, but I need to know if it is capable of 'podcasting' before I can remove the cellophane etc!
Do any of you fine fellows know?:EasterBun

Went to Boots yesterday and run 3 different transactions (in different tills not to annoy the staff
and got "money" back in all of them! Love the advantage card!
First lot:
1x Delicious sandwich £1.10 (+50 points voucher from July mag)
2x Ruby & Millie sponges £4.00 (+500 points from promo buy 2 get 500 pts)
Total spent: £5.10 +got a skincare voucher!
So £5.10 -£5.00 voucher - 550 points: Boots paid me £5.40!
Second lot:
1x intuition razor half off £3.41 (+ £3.00 off voucher towards tesco shopping)
(unfortunately the 35 p off voucher from the July mag has expired..but I did try it though!)
2x more sponges £4.00 (+500 pts)
Total spent: £7.41 so got skincare voucher!
So £7.41 - £3.00 razor voucher - £5.00 skin voucher - 500 points: Boots paid me £5.59!
Third lot:
n7 wipes at £6.25: used skin voucher so paid £1.25 (+200 points voucher for n7 from July mag)
2x sponges: £4.00 (+500 points)
Total spent: £5.25 so got skincare voucher!
So £5.25 -200 points- 500 points- £ 5 skin voucher: Boots paid me £6.75!
They also had mini sponges from Ruby & millie at £0.01 each! bough a few but extra points were not awarded. Decided not to query it because it will be way too cheeky to ask for extra 500 points after spending 2 p, isn't it? shame though :P
I am sooo chuffed with my shopping! thank you to all the MSErs that posted here.0 -
You've really got the hang of this Chicarg! Were your vouchers from the July mag the free mag that you get in the shop? I always forget to get them? Is there one out now or only certain times of year?
Anyway used my £5 voucher on 2 items from Botanics range today, at 2 for £6 on pore perfection. So only cost me 96p (don't forget the 4 points!)
Anyway the facial kit I got (£6) seems to be faulty, the toner looks all separated in the bottle. Do you think if I took it back I would get a refund or would that be just tooo cheeky?! Has anyone else had this problem? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hey, thank you Rachelja! It took some planning
Yes, the vouchers were from the Boots in-store magazine, it is free for advantage card holders. This mag covers July-August and it was still in the stands yesterday but I guess they will be bringing the sept-oct issue soon. The extra points vouchers in it are valid until 13-Sept.
As per the refund, never had this problem but I think you should take it back, they'll surely exchange it for an other one at least?0 -
Wow! Good work. Can't wait to get mine through the post now :jAnna :beer:0

Yes my toner is just the same thick and sludgy in the bottom and it doesn't mix even when shaken up!0 -
I've only just seen this thread and now I've got an overwhelming feeling that I've been really missing out!!!0

I think I will take it back, not sure if I want another one now, if mine wasn't the only dodgy one. Wonder if they've got surplus stock and that's why they're on offer or if it's just the hot weather? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
