Thanks for the Intuition tip. Only 2 with £3 voucher on, but SA was very pleasent when I showed her the BOGOF list, went and investigated and put through the 2 razors for £3.14...plus I had a 10% voucher from a mailing, and the 35p intuition coupon from the H +B mag.

£2.48 spend for £6 coupons. Off to another Boots tomorrow to see if more in stock elsewhere, as the H + B voucher runs out then too.

Also, I bought some 3 for 2 kids vitamins, and had 100 points machine voucher for these, so got 300 points, not the 100 I was expecting.

Obviously 2 transactions for these, so £10 skincare vouchers as well.

    V happy today!

Isn't it just great to fill our boots at Boots?

Had my first internet order delivered today. I ordered an Ipod Shuffle and a load of BOGOF toiletries. Everything was on the advice note.....but the Ipod wasn't in the box! I called C/S right away and they confirmed it as in stock and in the delivery.....not a seperate box. They are now sending me a missing item form to fill in, to be sent back with 2 proofs of address. I very felt uncomfortable, as if I was lying. Has anybody else had this happen?

Have you got something to share - Do it.
When you don't know - Ask.
  • Yes, I have also had this happen to me, I had a note left through my door saying that a parcel had been delivered. Of course no parcel to be found. I was also made to feel that I was lying. They sent me a gesture of a £5 goodwill after complaining. Not alot really, but better then nothing.

I had to sign a hand held computer thingy. I had just got out the shower so just signed...didnt inspect the box. (which incidentally was sealed and intact) I think the problem here is with the packer.

    Hi Lara
It might be worth emailing Boots as it didn't state on the printout not applicable on reduced items.
Boots shouldn't promote 2 different offers on the same product if they won't honour it.
Might get a giftcard sent to you.
    :)

Thanks Sparky..................I think I might do just that. Sister said there were loads with the £3 voucher on and she shops in Waitrose so would welcome them!

Shall let you know how we get on;).

Slightly off topic, but in reply to those victims above:

There appear a lot of thieves working for the Post Office and other delivery companies these days, but mainly the Post Office, for the reason below:

The employed thieves usually go for the no-signature-required parcels, as they aren't adequately traceable. Something which Postcom should really sort out before they allow the Post Office to rip us off next year when they start charging dependant upon the dimensions of the parcel!!!

In fact, they should be forced to sort out their duty of care before they're allowed to increase charges again!

Tried to buy 4 of these today, price on shelf £3.14 each with a £3.00 voucher.

The BOGOF went through on the till, only problem was it showed the price as £6.29 each, making total payable £12.56. I showed the SA the printout showing the BOGOF, and said the tems were £3.14 on shelf, therefore price should be £6.28, not £12.56. She said she would have to check, and unfortunately got the very snotty very heavily made up jobsworth from the make up counter. Had dealings with her before. She wouldn't budge, although I made my point more than once. Shelf price £3.14 each, BOGOF = £6.28. Told her very politely to stick them back on the shelf if she wasn't going to let me have them at the correct price.

I guess the half price offer has now finished, but they haven't changed the labels yet. Ther BOGOF wasn't showing on the shelf, just from the AC machine.

Realised afterwards I should probably have taken them anyway, as would still have got £5.00 skincare voucher plus £12.00 vouchers for Tescos. Going back tomorrow (to a different till at the back of the shop!! :rotfl: ), and will make two transactions, so should get two £5.00 vouchers, £12.00 vouchers for Tescos for £12.56 outlay. Hope no one else had the same idea. There were only 4 left on the shelf anyway.

Irrespective of whether the offer is over or not if the point of sale states half price or bogof then bogof or and half price it must be in order to avoid committing a trading offence, I can tell you now I would have got those razors at bogof given the circumstances you have related here, if any item is displayed with more than one price indicator then it MUST be sold at the LOWEST price in order to avoid breaching trading regulations, a quick call to your local Trading Standards office will confirm this for you.
