Cant believe that the delivery guy was so slapdash!

Not sure if to get refund or replacement though.......

Still amazes me that they dont use Royal Mail, Parcel Force or DHL to deliveer rather than some cowboys!
Personally I would go for replacement, but perhaps ask for it to be delivered to you at work (if you are allowed) or to a friend/neighbour/relative's address so that there is someone to sign for it.
If you ask for a refund it could lead them to think that you don't need the item because you received the first one. But of course it is down to you what you decide!

sorry but had to laugh at this - when i worked at redcats we used to use parcelfarce (not a spelling error) & had to change cos they were useless! always leaving things outside etc. we had a delivery from them once & they put it in the dustbin - on top of the litter from the cat's litter tray & the rabbit hutch! parcel not in a good condition when taken out!

went to 2 boots yesterday - 1st time not brave so didnt argue bogof on reduced razors - used vouchers & had more on so not too bothered. got braver at next one cos hubby taken son outside & was huge queue cos tills had been down. queried bogof & they overrode with no probs (prob cos stressed re tills) so got 4 packs blades using vouchers from previous shop for 24p... & another skincare voucher! v. impressed with razors - sensitive ones are great. others no good for me though so struggling to find ones with vouchers on now.

  • My Boots order said I should get it by Sept 1st so checked online & it says delievered at Business Express website. The time given is roughly 12 midday on Tuesday last week when I was out. I have asked neighbours but no-one has took a parcel in for me, although one of them (Who I do trust!) said she was across road at someone else's house when she saw a man leave a brown box outside my front door, when she came back across here with the intention to get it for me it had gone. Now I'm presuming this is my Boots order. I've emailed Boots but so far had no reply, surely they would not leave a £180 order on my doorstep like that? When I ordered it said online that a signature would be required but no-one has signed for this. This was a present too which I have now had to buy another one for yesterday. I have phoned them but not heard anything back yet,

This consignment will be delivered by: Business Express

I checked with customer service, freefone 0800 9150004 on Friday morning, was informed that parcel was loaded at 9.30 that morning. Left a note on my door for the delivery man not to leave the parcel on the doorstep on Friday as I had to go out. He delivered at 6.30 in the evening. Delivery was signed for.
My order was for £150. Customer service informed me that anything over £80 had to be signed for. Hope this info helps.

This note would be translated as 'Please Burgle My House Today' in a lot of neighbourhoods!

When I had digital camera delivered last month I rang Boots to check about security of delivery as I had some concerns about it being left somewhere (bad previous experience - not with Boots) and they assured me that all of the couriers that they used (was Reality Group in this instance) were specifically instructed that they MUST get a signature upon delivery for any order of a value higher than £100, which means that they should have got a signature for yours.

Woohoo, finally managed to get the Intuition razors at BOGOF! Did end up having a tutting queue behind me though as it took a while to convince them they were BOGOF :)

Thanks to whoever was the first one to spot this loophole :T

Got four of the July/Aug magazines today all with the No 7 extra points in. So shall buy the skin wipes individually less £5 voucher plus extra points :):).

Bought sandwich for extra 50points and 3 Sanctuary bags at 25p + 100 points. these points didn't go on so I told the young lad and he added them manually. He did say you need to buy three Sanctuary items. Tongue in cheek I replied I did..............3 bags. He smiled, added the points, commented on how many points I'd got and said "Have a nice day" :):). Oh and I got another £5 voucher.

My order which was over £100, no signature required was just dumped on the back lawn, in full view of anyone walking or cycling past. When I contacted them I got no explanation or apology
