    Hi Lara
It might be worth emailing Boots as it didn't state on the printout not applicable on reduced items.
Boots shouldn't promote 2 different offers on the same product if they won't honour it.
Might get a giftcard sent to you.
    :)

Got a reply to my letter today.
"quote": I am sorry to learn of your disappointment and appreciate the trouble you have taken in bringing the details to my attention.
We're taking this seriously and so one of our Customer Managers will be making a full investigation. As soon as this is done they'll contact you direct.
I'm sorry that you've had to contact us and we appreciate your patience while we look into this"

    Wonder what they'll say?? :)
  • Hi , I haven't been an advantage card holder for that long and I have never visited Boots as many times since joining this forum in fact my husband now thinks I have an addiction problem!!! Anyway I have found with offers or gettingpoints it really has depended on the assistant at the time a lot of them seem to be able to override things if you push your point hard enough and if they're really busy. For instance I was in Boots @ Kingsgate East Kilbride and I got offers from the machine which gave me 100 points on any product from Boots cucumber range....bought skin freshner £1.39 got anothervoucher for 100 points on aproduct from Botanic range..bought foot gel @ £1.24,another voucher for 150 points on any product from Boots pure skin range...bought moisturiser @ £1.99....I also bought soap @£1.55 . It was quiet and the assistant refused to put all the products through together therefore losing me my skin care voucher. The next day I was in Boots at James Centre Edinburgh and bought the same items using the vouchers and the girl put them through as 1 transaction and gave me a skincare voucher.....It appears to be pot luck.....

Boots have now asked for 2 proofs of my signature and whether I want a replacement or refund......

Firstly its too late as birthday has passed, but secondly why do they have to cough up for Home Delivery Networks absolutely crap service??
What is the point of asking you for 2 proofs of signature if you have not had the opportunity of signing for the delivery? Sounds daft to me, are they going to compare it with thin air?

You aren't in the East Midlands by any chance are you? Because my parcel had been tampered with. Still waiting to hear from customer services though.

    Down in Exeter..........

Cant believe that the delivery guy was so slapdash!

Not sure if to get refund or replacement though.......

Still amazes me that they dont use Royal Mail, Parcel Force or DHL to deliveer rather than some cowboys!

My iPod arrived yesterday, as I mentioned above, but the outer box was partially open at one end, should I have received any free vouchers in with my order does anyone know?

Yes, you should have. This happened to me with my last delivery, should have been the £10 electrical voucher, so I phoned them up and they offered to send me one. It was doubtful that it would have arrived in time to use, so I mentioned this and they offered to put 500 points on my advantage card instead, so I opted for that.
  • Last year my sister ordered twice from Boots and the delivery guy left it right outside the front door on two occasions - 2nd time someone stole it. They gave her a refund but didn't ask for proof of her signature.

    Had a good shop today:).

Bought 2 ruby & millie sponges at £2 each = 500 extra points
    plus sandwich. Got skincare voucher

Bought L'Oreal wipes x 2 for two skincare vouchers - FREE
No 7 wipes with skincare voucher - cost £1

No 7 wipes, used skincare voucher and used 200 points voucher out of magazine:) Cost: £1

    2 R&M sponges at £2 each = 500 points
Intuition razors x 2 (thought I would have another try!)
Cost= £2.14 plus another skincare voucher
Lady this time said not on offer as reduced already but would honour them as I had a print out from machine :):)

So 800+ points :j . Boots are the best :):)

Total points to date approx 31250 :):)

    NB
If you get cleansing wipes with your vouchers and don't know what to do with them all, put them in the Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan's Purse shoeboxes this October/November. I always put a packet in for all ages. If the kiddies are too young they can give them to their Mum's as a present.

Our small Boots had them at full price so by printing the voucher I paid £6.28 for 2 packs. Not great but not bad, at least I got the £35 skincare voucher. Reason I brought the razors in the first place.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28

I got 4 x intuition razors today, with the £3 off coupon on. Had to argue my point with the lady at the till as they were reduced to half price. But she gave in in the end. So 4 x razors for £6.28 plus £12 off coupons :j

Worst bit was in my excitement to find the razors after priting out the offers from teh machine i left my card in the machine went back and it had gone :( luckily i called them from my mobile and the points are still on it so they are sending me a new card) :j
  • Number 7 is on Three for Two at the moment, I bought three packets of All in one Face Wipes, used a Skincare voucher so -

    £6.00 + £6.00 + £6.00

    - £6.00 (3 for 2)

    - £5.00 Voucher

    = £7.00

Plus I picked up a 50p packet of pens and used a 50 points for £7.50 spend voucher from the machine. Spent £7.50, got 80 points and then got another Skincare voucher, yay!!!

I will have a very clean face at this rate! Thanks Boots :-)
