surfsister wrote:Yes my toner is just the same thick and sludgy in the bottom and it doesn't mix even when shaken up!
I got several of these pore perfection things - one being the toner which did have a bit of sludgy stuff at the bottom, but it seemed to mix up okay (although had to shake off the feeling I was putting watery mud on my face!).
I also got the foundation, but that is weird, and feels very much like putting gloopy mud on. Think I might have to give up on that one (although I did rather like the weird dispenser thing in the bottle!).
The mousse cleanser stuff is quite nice, and smells okay, if a bit "gardeny" (sp?!) although the concealer part of the concealer/blemish stick is again a bit "wet mud"-like.0 -
Rang c/s re my missing Ipod. (Rest of the order delivered....Ipod on invoice...but missing!) C/S guy insisted that they need me to send at least one form of ID with a signature on, which I am loathe to do. Now I really feel like I am cheating and feel so guilty. He did say if something was under £50, then just returning the signed form would be enough. I am getting really pee'd off with them and feel I have no choice but to comply with their request.  :mad:0

You could try phoning your local C.A.B I'm pretty sure they cannot demand such information, after all they already have all the proof of id they need in the original order don't they? Lots of companies do this and request totally irrelevant information to deter refunds, many people just cave in others just forget all about it as it's too much hassle, how many times have you seen the words "proof of posting is not proof of receipt" in t&c's if it works for them why shouldn't it work for the consumer, I think they are just making things difficult for you, if you don't want to bother phoning around for advice just tell them "you have charged me for items I have not received if you do not supply them I will have my card issuer pursue the funds"Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Boots, are not allowed to ask for any information in relation to proof of identification. By doing this they are in breach of the Data Protection Act, it bears no relevance in relation to the missing Ipod and you do not need to be identified in order to replace the Ipod. I would inform them that they are breaking the Data Protection Act, and they are controvening your rights under the European law of Human Rights.0

Hey guys........
Just a note to see what you think of Boots and their choice of products delivery companies?
I ordered an Ipod shuffle along with a couple of items. They assured delivery by Sept 5th (in time for Ipod to be given as present) and they duely delivered.
When i say delivered, the guy from Home Delivery Network left a card stating that the package was left "behind plants under gas meter" but when I got home there was nothing behind the plants apart from a cobweb!!!
According to the CS staff that was deemed to be a "secure place"
What the f***!
Boots have now asked for 2 proofs of my signature and whether I want a replacement or refund......
Firstly its too late as birthday has passed, but secondly why do they have to cough up for Home Delivery Networks absolutely crap service??0
