Hello:wave:
Am sitting in in my kitchen looking at the pile of crumbs I swept into the corner, yesterday.
The dining table has two cookbooks open at cake reciepies I was going to bake on sunday and never got round to it.
My youngest has decided she would like a home lunch today, have just come back in from helping out at the school this morning and will have to leave again in 25 mins.
It is parents night for eldest at 3.50 so won't be home until at least 4.45.
Then out for swimming with said eldest 6.30-8.00.
Where do I find the time (really I mean inclination;)) to so anything?
Have looked at the flylady thread for today and that is about as far as it will go. Estimate I will have 45 mins this afternnon when I come back from drop off and have to go out again to try and tidy the bedroom. Might just bake a bake a sweep up the crumbs...Sealed pot challenge member no 1057

My kitchen was so bad on Saturday that we went out for dinner... Didn't do it Sunday so went out for a cheap meal again... McDonalds last night.
Kitchen still a mess  but I can't afford any more meals out so will have to tidy itor maybe I will nip to M&S with my voucher and buy a new top instead
also, had to murder a massive spider last night and it ran away, fast, after I hit it twice... presumably it is dead somewhere (it can't have survived the double pronged attack and there is spider goo on the wall) in a pile of boxes and carp so I cannot tidy them away until my memory of the scary thing has gone away :o:o0 -
Can you see my halo???
I hung washing on the line rather than putting it in the tumble dryer
it should be dry now, it's been out there for 3 days *blush* If you do find my halo can you post it back to me please lol.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

I have returned from my little sojourn to Spain, supervising the new bathroom and roof. For some reason the house hasn't magically cleaned itself while I was away. I don't possess a fruitbowl here, but for the purposes of this thread i did have a look at our fruitbowl in spain which contains:
1 tube of no more nails
3 hair bobbles
1 box of ibuprofen
a bandage (unusued)
1 box of blood glucose monitoring sticks
cocktail sticks (loose)
4 paperclips
4 pens (non of which work)
a green sock
a teaspoon
the dog lead
4 phone chargers
50 cents in 1 & 2 cent pieces

a paintbrush
a scarf
a roll of parcel tape

I'm shattered but the duvet is currently coverless. Debating sleeping on the sofa under a blanket rather than finishing making the bed (DH is away). I have done this enough times for similar reasons that I know it causes a bad back (unfolding the sofa bed would avoid the "no effort" of not going upstairs...)"Every single person has at least one secret that would break your heart. Hi
Ah, finally, a place I feel I belong. I love reading this thread because I feel normal and I stress less about the state of my house and can enjoy the finer things in life like enjoying my family while they are young. I always think that other people must live in immaculate houses (like my friends house) but reading this I know now that my house is normal.
I am having a family party for my little boy next week and have been avoiding cleaning and tidying the house as I will just do a super duper swipe through the night before the party to pretend the house is always clean and tidy!!!!
I dread people coming round when im not expecting them. My friend says that she just keeps the hallway tidy so that if she has to open the door to anyone then it looks ok - on the face of it!!
