Most of the free online car sales sites aren't up to much, loads of scammers and time wasters and not much else... if you really want to seel quickly, advertise in autotrader magazine and online, but get the pricing right or you'll waste your fee...

lol, how do you know whats affordable to me and whats not???

because you have admitted that you need the extra £500,if you could afford the car you want then the extra that you need wouldnt be a problem, would it?
as others have said your car is only worth what someone will pay for it,if i had to choose between buying your car at £1500 and buying the facelift model at £1500 i would choose the later.its slightly newer and not as ugly.
i think you need to face up to the reality of your situation.

Personally, i dont think my car is ugly. Secondly, i know i could get more than £800 for my car, hence why i didnt accept the dealers offer.

obviously you bought it in the first place. thats why i said if i had to choose, meaning my opinion.
more than £800 doesnt mean double that,it means a few hundred quid more.

Yeh i know that, thats why i have lowered my asking price. As i said in my previous post, maybe i was a bit too hasty in listing it for £1600!!! That was a bit OTT. I am going to try and list it for £1475 and open to offers and see where i go from there.

You may get some mug to give you a bit over a grand, but don't count on many punters at that price.

Well you asked for opinions and everyone including several in the trade have told you that you are way overpriced for a 10 year old Fiesta, as others have said if you cannot do a deal on a new car for the sake of £300 then it is time to look for something cheaper.

I dont HAVE to put the deposit i want down on the car, its just that i want my new car paid off within 2 years on finance, and without the £300 extra on my deposit, i couldnt possible stretch that which would result in me having it on finance for 3 years which = more interest aswell.

I am gratefull for everyones opinion. I will see what happens within the next few days, and will post back here of any updates - or to let you know if " some mug " has brought my car!
