Just a quick update guys....

The salesman threw in a spare remote key for us which was part of the deal for the car, but when i picked the car up the spare remote key wasnt in stock, so he told me he would order one there and then!!

He then told me that he would phone me in a weeks time and let me know whether the key has arrived or not.... Anyhow, week past and still no phone call. So i decided to ring BS and asked to speak to the salesman, but he is on holiday. So the receptionist put me through to the parts department. I spoke to a guy there who said that they always have the spare remote keys in stock and that my car would need to me booked in to the workshop for an hour because it has to be cut and programmed!!!! He told me that the salesman has fobbed me off!!!

I feel a bit !!!!ed because of this. I thought it went smoothley until this has happened!!! I now have to wait until the salesman gets back off his hols on the 25th to speak to him about it!!!

Why do you need to wait?

If its part of the contract it should be in writing and anyone can do it for you

Its got a spare remote key on my deal contract or whatever they call it!!! He has also written 1 spare remote key outstanding FOC then his name and signed it.

Reason is i cant get down there today or tomorrow so its gonna have to be next weekend. But before then i can phone him as he is back on the 25th to discuss it with him.

Im a bit peeved really as he did say he could send it me in the post or even deliver it to me.... but the bloke i spoke to in the parts dept said it has to be programmed to my car!!!

Yeh i got my spare key sorted just last week! So all went well. Turns out the salesman was lying to me in the fact that he couldnt just send it through the post to me as it had to be programmed in!

Oh well, dont mind now as everything is sorted.

The car is doing its first long journey next saturday down to Devon ( 188 miles )!
