Fords are already going for peanuts new and nearly new, I wouldnt expect the prices to fall much, certainly not enough to make it affordable for you

lol, how do you know whats affordable to me and whats not???

Well if you cant afford it now whilst yours is worth 1k you wont be able to afford it when the same cars worth 500 quid

and tbh 1k to 1.3k is not much, if that much damages you buying a car, you shouldnt be buying one in the first place until necessary as the margins are clearly too tight

That size margin wouldnt damage me next month, it would just leave me short this month.....

Must be the same shape as mine, the current shape didnt come out till 2002 :)

Just to clarify, this is the one I'm selling.. it's not the old, old shape

Yours is the shape that ran from 1996 til 2000. Then they brought out a different fronted one, which is what I referred to as "new shape"

Ah, that will be the finesse then. I'm comparing prices with other Zetecs, so I haven't looked at that spec. When harveybobbles said the 'new shape' I automatically pictured the 2002-2008 shape. Also, the post said "FORD Fiesta 1.25 Zetec ".. as far as I'm aware, it's either a zetec or a finesse, they're two different cars with different engines. Could be wrong though..

The 1.25 zetec engine was available as an LX, Zetec, Finesse, Ghia...
